As the mother of three bi-racial children, my first question is....why does it matter? Children are made to be loved and protected! All children are unique, some will get darker and some will stay light. As a caring adult you should teach the children to love themselves just the way they are!!!

yes, the ears on a newborn usually tell you what their real complexion is going to be, we all come out light, but get darker as the weeks progress, ofcourse depending on what shade of brown we are.

my sister had a mixed baby about 6 months ago, he is so light! he looks completely white. She also had a mixed child 5 years ago, who looks.. mixed, she was lighter as a baby and now she is tan, kind of puerto rican looking, but her hair is light, light brown color, and very curly but not nappy. But the 6 month old right now is as light as any complete white baby I have seen

It depends on the parents. look to see if his knuckles are a little darker or if he has dark spots on his fingers and toes and ears if he does he will be close to that color
