Obviously, I put her down on her back, but she flips on to her belly every night. With the increased risk of SIDS, I get very worried. Is there anyway to prevent her from doing this?

Cot seems to be much more expensive than playpen though and playpen is easier to keep and store when not in use

I have a 1 month old, who about 2 weeks ago started spitting up .5 to 1oz of his formula, almost every time he eats. He is also constantly hungry, eats about 5oz every 2-3 hours, all day and night long. When he eats, he ravages at the bottle and has not been sleeping well at all, only a few hours in a 24 hours period, 45mins to an hour at a time. If he is down for 2 hours, we are lucky! He just spit up a clear bad smelling liquid, after not eating for about 2 hours when I picked him up from a short nap. I did an ultrasound him him last week, they came up negative, but im still very worried. Is there a tell-tale sign that I can tell if my boy is OK? He seems to be peeing and pooping normally.. but this is my first im not sure what "normal" is.

thanks!

I know they say not to introduce baby food to the baby until they are between 4-6 months, but does that go for women who breastfeed, too? Cereal is usually the first food they use, along with milk, but what about breastfed babies? Do you just mix it with breast milk, or what?

Hi, I am a bit freaked out, but hopefully it is me being a crazy, worried Mom. I notice a few months ago a little bump behind my daughters ear, (a little smaller than a pea) did not think anything of it at first and noticed the other day it was still there. I had her at the docs today and figured I would ask. I had a different doc cause my regular one was not in and I asked him about it. He said, oh it is a gland. I asked him if I should be worried and he was very "whatever" about it. He said it could have been from a bug bite or something. But now I am so worried!! It is really small )smaller than a pea) and it is only on one side, it is the gland behind her ear. Has anyone else had this or noticed it? Is it anything to worry about? My regular doctor is on vacation and I am just going to be worried sick till I get to talk to him.

Do you automatically assume that they think they're better than you? Or do you get to know them and their situation first? I just wonder because of this psycho chick on here with three ID's is giving you all a bad name. I breastfeed but everyone else in my family bottlefed so I really don't think I'm better or try to shove my opinions down their throat. I WILL, however, stand up for my right and not sit idly whilst being criticized.
