Newborn & Baby - July 2006

When i was in my mommy's tummy. she went to rouine check ups and there was 2 of us. when me and my twin was born. no doctor was in the room. they left in this dark room by herself. she delivered on her own and some one with a surguical mask came in and took my twin brother/sister. my mom told them:"where are you taking my baby" as they rushed out of the room. As my mom explained to me. And she think that my dad had something to do with it. And they separated a little after I was born. when he called her crazy! And we moved overseas. Everybody was so exited since theyfound out that my mom was carrying twins. I think about it till today oif my dad was involved. and why wasn;t anybody in the room with her. And ever since today nobody talks about it like nothign happened. I bring it up sometimes. Theyre like yeah we remember...But it's like they want to forget. Theyre was a lot of black market babies going on around that time. This happened in Pittsburgh, PA. this is kind of lame to ask...

I've only got 3 lame ones memorized that I like to sing...even after years of being a children's librarian. My baby (my 2nd) will be here in October and I want to start listening and memorizing these songs so I don't tire of myself, ya know? I bought (for my old library) a video with Lauryn Hill singing Hush Little Baby and I've gotta find that..anyone know if they also made a CD and what the title is? I plan on letting my daughter self wean, however, I know that at some point, I should introduce either whol milk or forified soy milk so that when she does stop nursing, she is getting the nutrients she needs. When did you introduce other milk and what kind was it? How much did you give your baby? What was the nursing pattern at that point? Thanks!!

She is teething and I;ve found her actually bitting of the white paint from her crib. I know that the paint is non toxic but that cant be healthy for her. What can I do? Every morning in this past week I find her with a face full of little white specks and now she is even coughing. Please help.

Today my 8 month old went to the doctor and he heard a heart murmur. She is a thriving active healthy little girl. he suspects its innocent or benine, he is sending us to a cardiologist to be on the safe side. I'm petrified, absolutely petrified, i can't breate, exhale until I know its fine. I would appreciate any info on it, personal experience would be great.
