DO you just say that because you are mad at her? Or do you have a legit reason? Also, it's going to be hard right after the birth on the simple fact the baby was just born and unless she has a criminal record like Hitlers, or other children who were taken away then you probably won't be able to until she does something wrong, good luck

you need to see a social worker at the hospital at birth a nurse should be able to assist you...Or call your local DHHR or CPS tell them what you know and have a solid outline of what the "unfit" mother is doing. You may want to begin documenting what you know see hear...If you don't write it down or have a witness she can deny...

You need to get a lawyer and prove to the court she is unfit.
What makes her unfit?

First of you all you need to contact legal in your state. You also need to prove beyond a doubt she is unfit as well.

Call the Department of Social Services and file a 209A on her. But be prepared to do a paternity test.
