You can do a few things - 1. give her a teething ring but make sure it has been in the freezer the cold will help ease the aching from her teething. 2. you can cover up the railing of the crib with a cover you can get at any stores. 3. take a lemon and rub along the railing so that when she comes close to it and tastes it, she will back off cause she won't like the bitterness of it. Try all that and see what happens. I hope it helps you. Good luck!

P.S. DO NOT try salt or hot sauce nor beef jerky or even nail polish that isn't good for the baby. I hope you take my advice.

There are some teething bumpers that you can put on the crib so that when she chews on it she'll get the teething bumper and not the paint. They are called teething rails. Type that into a yahoo search engine and it will bring you to a bunch of pages.

Check out the manufacturers website to see if they have the plastic slides that fit on top the bed rails.. Or check out your local baby retail store like Babies 'r' Us they have a large selection of baby things.
Even though the paint is non toxic you definitely want it to stop because she could choke on the paint chips...

she's teething, give her baby oragel, frozen waffles, frozen teething rings, and beef jerky ( i used jerky on my oldest) you just have to watch them with the food. also tylenol - never asprin. if you give her other things to chew on she still may chew on the bed that's what they do at this age, so get some type of cloth and tape it well to the rails that way when she chews so won't harm the wood.

Always do the old fashion way, rub something on there thats nasty, like hot sauce, or salt, they will not go back there to nibble no more, thats what they say to do for thumb sucking.

cover the sides with blankets or some kind of cover, or get a new crib. definitely don't let that continue.
