Over the last few nights, my baby has slept from 10.30pm-9am.
He is bottle fed and has 6 ounces of milk every 2.5 - 3 hours.
Should I wake him in the middle of the night or is it alright to let him sleep?

never never wake a baby, ask any veteran mom - its awful for the baby and for you. your baby seems to have a healthy appetite, touch wood, that may be one reason why he sleeps well. different babies have different sleep needs and no two are alike, at an average a 2 month old will sleep anywhere between 16-20 hours - so he is well within the normal range. babies sleep once they have gotten their calories for the day, so he obviously makes up on nourishment despite sleeping through the night. count your blessings, most babies dont sleep through the night till they are 7-8 months old

i understand you're unlikely to love my answer yet it quite is in simple terms what that's. he's a new child, not to show a premie so he needs distinctive sleep. you reside in his international now, not any incorrect way around. while he sleeps, you sleep and that's the only way you would be waiting to maintain sane from the sleep deprivation. i did not get my son right into a applicable comprehensive habitual till' 2 weeks in the past and he's 3 months old. What we had to do while he grow to be your sons age grow to be permit him sleep approximately 3 naps that have been 2-3 hours each and every and then keep him wide awake after 6pm till finally' 9 feeding him each and every 2 to 3 hours throughout the time of the day and at evening feeding him each and every 2 to3 hours as properly. sounds like your toddler additionally has their days and nights blended up so while he gets somewhat older like 7 weeks old attempt to stimulate him a lot by using perhaps waking him up somewhat in the past like 30 minutes on his final nap and putting him on his play gymnasium or you study him a e book, decide for a walk, bypass to the keep ( conceal him up nevertheless because of the fact he would not have his photos yet) rattlers and toys continually keep my son happy and alert throughout the time of the day. suited now our son is wide awake from 3 till finally' 7:30ish We permit him have approximately 2 naps an afternoon and a short third one if we are fortunate and around 5 he alert and wide awake and in a position to play...we positioned him on tummy time or his bouncy or play gymnasium( distinctive stimulation to make him sleepy later) around 6:30 we feed him banana or rice cereal( your son is in simple terms too youthful for this so attempt giving him an oz. or so of breast milk to suited him off for the 2d) my son is usually a happy camper while he has something in his tummy earlier a tub, around 7 we supply him a tub...dry him off, new out in good condition, some kisses and hugs and then a 5 ouncesbottle then approximately 7:30-8 he's large and comprehensive and arranged for mattress. attempt this out with your infant and in simple terms fill interior the blanks with what you do like: a million ounce of milk, tub, hugs and kisses,e book or something to calm him then milk back( a large volume of it, that's in many cases 2-3 ouncesat his age)

Always remember your child will never sleep or play if he or she is hungry, and whenever he or she is hungry will cry and let you, so let your baby sleep and you too at the same time can take the much needed sleep and rest.
All the best
