My daughter has chosen a name for her baby girl that's due next month & we don't know how to spell it. The name sounds like: Sineesis. is this the correct spelling or what?

Hmm thats a tough one. I think having two e's is kinda wierd looking, maybe go with Syniesis or Syneasis, or those same spellings but with a C in the front instead of an S.

Names should be given to children to impart to them wisdom or blessings. If you do not know what the name means or how to spell it I suggest you think of something else...

I imagine it's actually Shineese. It's a variation of Shina which is Japanese for Virtuous; wealthy. It's also Chinese- an alternate of China.Tell her to choose an easier name. I could suggest some.

Dont pick a spelling that's off the wall. Make sure people can look at it and still pronounce it correctly. Synesis...Cinesys...Sinecys...

Well, I would spell it Sanesys, but you can basically spell anyway you feel like. My niece is named Machayla Helena, and my brother spelled it Mykala Hylana.

I would say "Synesis" or "Cynesis"...I've never heard of this name. Is it something she made up, or is is foreign, or what??? It really sounds like some kind of scientific something or other, not a name for a baby. JMHO.
