if they are just laying around behind the tv, computer ect use zip ties to get them up. If they are running across the floor in a room you can do a couple of things. Cover with strip of ducktape, run under the carpet or go to a flooring store (I think office supply places might have this as well like Staples) and tell them that you are looking for a rubber strip that you can put over the top of your flooring to make electical cords not a trip hazard.

you can go to Lowes or Home Depo and get the plug covers or you could try sticking bulky furniture in front of the cords. You can also try to maybe get some kind of wire or twist tie to bunch them together. I know Lowe's has the plug cover though, I had to buy some baby safety items there myself. Or you could even try eBay, They usually sell that kind of stuff really cheap.

Get some Zip Strips, you can find them at your local hardware store or probably Wal Mart for that matter. They are really easy to you and are not permanent. They are basically bigger versions of the plastic things that hold a tag on clothes at the store. You can bunch your wires up and Zip Strip them together and then tuck them in behind your entertainment center where they can get ahold of them.

You could put the ones you arent using in a drawer of entertanment center cabinet and if most of the cords are in a small area you could put other stuff you dont use much to block the area off depending on how big he is.

try zip ties or for really cheap easy idea use the cardboard paper towel rolls or toilet paper rolls. the trash bags ties work as well. theres no reason go out and spend a bunch of money. you could use string, thread, tape. there are a million things you can use! hope that helps!

Zip ties? That would be my suggestion - they also sell cord protectors - its like a plastic tube which you weave all your cords into - if they are like sound system stuff. I think zip ties would work best though.

Pipe insulation or small PVC pipes from the hardware store.
Check out the "safety section" at your local Babies R Us as well.
