I have a 5 month old Little girl, who i try to put to sleep on her back, but, she rolls over as you baby does, I leave her alone to sleep, just check on your baby so often, that the baby is still breathing and does not have it's head buried in a blanket , sheet, etc.

Are you overfeeding her? what percentage oz. (if formulation fed)and how often are you doing so? even with the certainty that her little tummy can not carry will come decrease back up! in case you do not imagine you're then perchance get a 2d opinion also try bufping in the course of the feed and after to make confident there is not any air.. drowsing relies upon on the toddler it might want to be next month or a twelve months. My oldest slept by ability of the evening round 5-6 months my youngest is a twelve months and no drowsing yet she nonetheless wakes 2-3 cases a evening. playstation drowsing by ability of the evening for a toddler is 5 hours or more effective at a time.

If your six month old can roll over and he likes to sleep on his belly it should be alright. Check him and make sure he is not rolled in a blanket or his air way is restricted. Don't give him a pillow just yet either.

I've read that once they're able to roll over on their own, they're not as at-risk for SIDS because they can pick up their heads. I seem to remember the book saying to put them on their backs, anyway, though.

I used a wedge for a while. By the time my daughter was squirming out of that, I wasn't worried about it anymore.

If your baby has mastered rolling over, then he can explore what position his best comfortable in. My son did the same thing I talked to his Dr. and she told me not to worry about SIDS, because once baby has mastered the act of rolling over then his not at risk. But speak to your sons Dr. first they might have a different suggestion.

As long as he can roll over with ease. After six months the risk of sids drops dramatically! But if he rolls himself onto his stomach then he will be fine.

If you start him out on his back and he rolls over to his stomach then he is strong enough to roll back over they know when something is wrong and he can roll back over if youre worried just keep and eye on him

he's fine as long as he can roll back onto his back an can turn his head to the side, which he probaby can at this point. dont worry...and DO NOT put a blanket in the crib - THAT IS a suffocation hazard...also, a wedge is as well, once they can roll...

if he is capable of rolling to his stomach and back onto his back don't worry about it. he will be fine. and anyways, there's not much you can do anyways. unless you want to wake up every hour all night and roll him back. he's gonna do it if he wants no matter what.

don't feel bad. it scared me when my son became a tummy sleeper too. all that talk about SIDS. scared me half to death. but i read it's fine and there isn't much i can do anyways.

if he is the one rolling himself over he is fine. that means he is strong enough to roll himself over if he was having trouble breathing, younger babies who cannot roll over would not be able to do that. plus after your baby is 6 months old his risk for SIDS is much lower.
