or Korean Haemorragic fever? I mean, it should cure these things right? Hell, what AIDS paitent needs AZT and cocktail therapy when they can just get a boob milk IV and be better in 1 week. That's how Magic Johnson got cured. It's supposed to be a secret though. Plus, it can cure leukemia with one squirt, just ask the psycho chick in Seattle that almost killed her baby thinking breastmilk was gonna fix his kidney disorder. Lots of US soldiers contract KMF when in the field environment during Korean summertime, hows about sending their commanders care packs of titty milk to cure these soldiers? Who the hell needs Cipro and broad spectrum IV antibitotics when you have good ole titty milk. The panacea of the universe.

or none at all? Does love come out of titties? I sure didn't feel any love come out of mine when I breastfed for 6 months, just painful letdowns and milk squirting all across the room. Was that the love?

Be honest, if you think you are better, just say so. Just explain why and how you come to this conclusion.

Hello. My sis is breast feeding her new born. Her nipples are so raw now that she is ready to go to the Dr - in fact she will go tomorrow. Has this happened to others here? Will she just have to start giving him the formula? Can this be corrected? I guess she is pretty sore.
Thanks in advance!

What is it doing now? Is it doing taxes and deciphiring the da vinci code? Well, my partially breastfed (6 months only) 8 month old is already walking, saying mamma and addda and Tak tak (her word for her brother) and taught herself some signs we comprehend for milk and "I'm tired". She's high strung, to be sure. But just wanted to show formula ain't doing bad by us. Oh, yeah, I almost forgot, She's already working on her thesis on quantum physics and protoplasmic propulsion.@@ pfft.

Just wondering if anyone has used the Parent's Choice Diapers from Wal-mart. I've noticed they are cheaper than the others but I don't want to buy them if they leak or don't work well. Anybody tried them??

So, you have a problem with me. Boo hoo, Waa Waaa. It's the internet, what is your deal? I can hate boob nazis and protest them if I want to, legally, as a US citizen. If I don't want them on my property, I can call the cops and have them removed. My right as a home owner. You can't shove your La Leache league stuff down my throat and call it gospel, it makes YOU look insane. Yeah, I went to war for my country and suffer from PTSD and also PPD. So what? Some people have worse things to deal with in life. If you have to use my illness and choice to breastfeed for 10 years to belittle me and make yourself feel superior...whatever. That just makes you look like you have an issue your damn self. My question is why do you give a damn about me and my screen names? I have a billion others you know nothing about. Let's not try and play amateur stalker/hacker...you will lose.

I use "baby Oxiclean" it used to work on brest milkj or formula stains, but now that my son has graduated to these little jars of baby food, the stains are not comming out. I tried soaking his cloth in water with the detergent, but that is not working either. is there anythig I can use to trully remove the stains from his bibs and clothing?

I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

I have a 2 month old baby, it's our first. She is breastfed exclusively and is growing just fine, but she has a lot of gas ALL the time. My poor baby starts sleeping and you can see her bending and stretching because of the colic, and you can also hear her tummy sounds everytime it happens, so she wakes up very easily and never has a good straight sleep. I know she is not supposed to sleep a lot at this stage, but I would love if she could sleep 2 straight hours in between feedings with less colic. She doesn't last too much inside her crib before she is awaken by the pain and this puts a lot of stress in my wife. We've tried Mylicon and don't feel it helps much or probably not at all. Has anyone tried anything else that helps with the gas? Thanks.

My 2 month old has cradle cap, but she also has a red rash on her hairline. She is constantly scratching her scalp, as well as where the rash is located (hairline). Does anyone have a clue to what I can do about this to soothe her?

I am going to a baby's first birthday party this Saturday and want to make her a simple sundress out of some cute cloth I have. I don't need a pattern, I can make one myself, but I don't know how large babies usually are at age one. I know all babies are different, but a general range of height, either from neck down (better) or top of head down (also good) would be great, as well as any waist measurements or any measurements around the torso...someone has to know this sort of thing, I figure, although I can't find it online. Thanks!

My nephew is just over 4 months and he head is HUGE! My brother's girlfriend said even the doctor told her that the rest of his body is in the 50% range for average but his 25% bigger than normal. I would like to know if his big head is linked to some other mental illness or retardation problem.

Would the doctors just come out and test for it if they think something is wrong- or is it up to the parents to ask the doctor to test if they think something isnt right.

His head size just does not seem normal and I am really concerned and dont want to hurt my brothers feelings by asking if something is wrong with his kid.

Any adivse on this matter is welcomed- Thanks!

I am a single parent with a daughter that is "normal" and a newborn son that has Down Syndrome. For this reason I can not work at this time due to the amount of one on one attention he needs. Also believe because of his problem is th e reason his dad left. However I am looking for anyone that knows of different programs in Indiana that could possibly help me financially. It is not that I do not want to work. It is that right now I cannot work. and being on my own it is very difficult to pay everything without a job. NEED HELP? Does anyone have any adise as what to do?

My once predictable baby is throwing me for a loop. He, just last week would eat every 4 hours and sleep for at least 2 hours inbetween every feeding. Today and yesterday however, he has only had 3 or 4 20 minute naps! He was also sleeping through the night last week. Not the case this week. Help.
