Could it just be a personality trait when all other reasons fail to meet the reason that could be causing them to screech, squeal, and "fake" cry all day (no tears!). We have a 10 month old boy at our child care facility who cries over everything. Changing his diaper makes him scream and cry (plus kicking you while you are changing him). He hits other babies, stands in the middle of the room screaming, screams while being held sometimes. Just naturally seems like an unpleasant baby. I feel bad for him but then again when babies who act like that keep it up I really don't. I have a 6 month old nephew who is like this too but at least I know why he is the way he is. His parents keep him strapped to their hip at all times. Other than the few that are constant screamers/cryers most babies are great I think.

He cries every time we put him down or leave the room. We attempt to keep him entertained--books, swing, exersaucer, etc. But he still screams. HELP!

We both sleep better if he's in the bed with me. ( it's a queen, plenty of room) I can just roll over to feed him without a lot of disturbance to either of us. He's 2 mos. old and I worry about SIDS. Has anyone else done this?

These damned beasts have snatched three of mine already. They dig under my fence and somehow they've discovered how to open doors!

My great uncle died and my mother wants me to attend the funeral with the baby. I plan to stop and nurse every two hours. I am by myself and the baby will be riding in an infant seat in my auto. Is this safe for the baby riding for a long period of time in the same position or should I decline the visit?

my baby just turned 7mts, she is around 16.5 lbs, she has always been a fussy eater, been on formula from the beginning. I use the avent bottle and she always has driven me nuts when it came to her feed time so much so that i don't look fwd to feeding her but i do coz i must. She would take about 25oz a day until i started her on solids. i had to stand and feed herdistract her and sometimes force feed her just to get formula in her system
Then i put her on the high chair instead of the regular feeding position, it wkd for 3 days and then again it was just 2oz and then back to distracting showing her stuff singing and i would manage another 2oz, she doesn't take milk from the bottle in her sleep at all she tries to jump out of my lap. Now I put her in the high chair and give her milk in a bowl with added cereal so that she gets at least 15 to 17oz a day, I give her one or two veggie jars and sometimes yougurt, now is off the bottle completely and sometimes even throws up her cereal.

I just received a sample of Enfamil Lipil Next Step. Is this necessary? She'll be on whole cow's milk in a few months.

Is this the best way to get ansers to questions? I mean, why would I ask some random jackass when I could research the information I need from reliable sources. Sure, I could ask a REAL doctor, nurse, or family advisor how to properly feed a baby, but maybe I should ask some random internet person instead...someone who may not have any experience at all.
