What a horrible ordeal that would be. I would of course find my baby, and the baby I raised I would be equally horrified to know how it would effect all those involved.

It's really hard to imagine how you would feel, but i know that i wouldn't want to loose the son that i have so i would probably try to pretend like i never found as as long as your biological child is happy and healthy.
But thankfully i know that my son is mine because he didn't leave my side from the minute he was born until the minute we went home. I live in australia and they don't put your baby in a nursery here - the baby stay's with the mum 24hrs a day unless they are sick.

nowadays if you give birth in a real hospital the chances of that are slim to none there are very thurough measures taken to prevent this type of thing but if i found out it had happened to my baby i would freak out and i would definately sue the hospital if i found out my daughter wasnt mine i really dont think i could give her up she is the child i love more than life and any other child blood or not could never take the place of her and the years we have been together thank god i know she is mine

I'd be going after somebody! I have a little 3 year old daughter. If I didn't have her I wouldn't no what to do! People need to keep their own or get their own instead of trying to claim someone else's. These aren't baby dolls were talking about we are talking about human beings your messing with not girl toys.

if my baby was switched at birth at the hospital and i found out, i would just want to see the baby and get to know him/her,
but they child i raised would still be my child, even thought it was not rightfully mine, since i raised it from birth. because we were a family for so long without knowing about the switch, i would not trade our lives.
but thank God, it it did not happen to me.

I would be very angry, and I would go out and find MY baby. But I know both of my children are MINE and not anyone elses. Both of them have many of my features and I checked for marks when they were first born and made sure I checked before I left the hospital. So I'm safe.

Um...if you raise a child as your own, it shouldn't matter who's biological material s/he is made out of. I would be curious about my biological kid, but I don't think I'd want to switch back, especially if the child was old enough to be showing personality. The child I was raising would be mine.

I would be absolutely devastated. A child i raised, thought had come from my womb, whom i thought i had birthed is not mine and truthfully I want "My" child back.

did this happen to you? I can't imagine how it would feel or what I would feel. Nobody can unless it actually happened. But if I would guess that my life would then be dedicated to finding my real child.

I'd be pretty upset. It's one thing to not have your own baby, yet another to adopt someone's baby...but to not have your own i'd hope it never happened.
