Just curious. I wondered does a child have to inherit its blood group from either its father or mother or can it have a blood group entirely seperate from either?

My son is 9 1/2 months old and I had no intentions of weaning him until a year old but I can't sleep! He wants to stay attached ALL night , when he falls asleep I try to put him im his bed and we will wake right up and start crying, we will NOT sleep without being atttached to me, While I believe breastfeeding to be a beautiful and natural experience and bonding time, it is getting old.

My daughter is 8 months old, and since birth, she does crosses her legs, starts grunting, and breaks into a sweat. Most of the time, she can be distracted out of this by showing her a toy or giving her a pacifier ... which is why I don't think it's a seizure.

It cannot be colic as she's too old, and I took her to a GI specialist who has eliminated the possibility of it being a GI problem. He felt she might be doing it to get attention/picked up; so he told us to ignore her when she does this for a couple weeks. This didn't help at all; she still does it.

My next step is to take her to a neurospecialist for further tests, but I was wondering if anyone else has seen this same issue. Her development is wonderful, she's very aware/alert and know everything that goes on. She's always smiling/laughing/playing/talking; but she does have this one issue that isn't going away.

Thanks.

My baby is 4 months old and just a little over 17 pounds. (was 10 pounds 9 oz when I had him btw) He's having a bottle every 2 to 3 hours and am being told by the moms that hes eating too often and with him being so big he needs more food. I'm a new mom so I really have no idea what to do or when to feed him and that sort of thing.

I was just curious? My baby girl is almost 4 months old and I was wondering if I should get her one. We're kind of hard up for money and I didn't know if it is worth it.

How many naps, how long are their naps, when and how much solid food. I would prefer answers from breastfeeding moms, mine still nurses about 15 times a day.

My 2-year old daughter is itching in her private area? I think she may have an infection. Is it possible for a baby to have a yeast infection or something? What could be wrong and what can I give ger to sooth her until I can get her to the doctor's?

Cloth diapers have changed alot. Don't believe me? Check out some on www.bum-ware.com Not my site, ,but I have purchased a few diapers from her.

If you don't, why? They are good for the environment. They are good for little bottoms. They are good for the ole wallet.

I was really suprised to find that disposible diapers have ingredients that were banned from tampons in the eighties. We can't use them once a month, but we will strap them on our babies behinds for years!

I had a dream that I was holding a beautiful baby girl in my arms and she was mine and my b/f's child. When I woke up I had this empty feeling inside of me like something was missing. That isnt the first time I have ever had a dream like that before. About 5 months ago I had a dream that I had a baby boy and when I woke up I had the same feeling.

My baby is only 3 wks old and it seems like she is never full. She is on Lactose Intolerant formula and has been waking up every 2 hours to eat and she normally eats around 3oz. Since she is on formula she is only suppsosed to eat every 3 hours. I have tried reducing the amount she eats since she is eating every 2 hours but she she remains hungry. Is anyone having or have had this problem.
