My Fi's and I 5-year-annivesery is coming up, and as a present, I thought of compiling a book of our relationship using blurb.com. I'm going to incoporate over 10 years of photographs in it, as well as letters and emails that have been written. It's going to be seperated into two parts - 'the story of us', and a 'scrapbook area' (the latter taking up most of the book). I'm going to write out how we met, became friends, dated, got engaged and so forth...the only problem is, I have NO IDEA how to begin it! We met in Sunday School when we were 8 years old, if that helps you give me an opening line. Please, anything you can come up with will be GREATLY appreciated - anything besides 'once upon a time there was a boy and girl'. Also, what point of veiw should it be in? I want others to be able to read it, so I'm not sure if I want it from my POV, because that leaves his thoughts out- but will it seem too impersonal if I do it from 3rd person? Please, give me ideas!

What could your mom do to show you how proud of you she is & how much she loves you? I'd really like to do something to show my daughter that. Staying home from school isn't an option because she can stay home whenever she wants & she has everything that she asks for but she doesn't ask for much. Any suggestions?

i no this doesnt belong in this section but no one answered me in the other one.. i have had a bad cold and befor i go to school i take a benydrilll or sudafed but they made me rlly tired and i keep sleeping in my classes and stuff one of my teachers thought i was high lmfao .. any suggestions about what to do?!?!

A friend of mine is having REAL problems with her 11 year old son. She's a single mom and he runs all over her. She lives in the Findlay area. We are looking for a Scared Straight or some type of Boot Camp to try to get him on the straight and narrow.

Its just about that time of year again when the weather gets warmer, and my daughter goes shopping. Somehow the fashions seam to get smaller, tigher, or both!!! lol... Any other moms or dads dealing with this? How do you deal with it? Set rules? Or just chalk it up to "the times"?? - THANKS!

My mom is a single mother with 4 kids, I being the oldest. We had a babysitter for all 4 of us but my mom fired her because she kept ruining our new house (scrubbing marble countertops with scouring pads). I am 13 years old and my mom makes me babysit my little brother and little sister afterschool while my baby sister is a daycare. This has been going on for about 2 months and I havent been able to do anything afterschool because I have to babysit my siblings. I keep asking my mom if she's looking for a babysitter and she says yes but I am positive that she isnt. She pays me $1 an hour just so I wont complain. I know I shouldnt but softball season is coming up and I cant play because practices are on the weekdays afterschool. I try to talk to my mom about this but she keeps saying "Its called helping out the family" and makes me feel guilty about it. Do you think its fair that I have to do this? Any advice? PLEASE HELP!

I'm having a party this summer. My best friend is planning it. We're both 13 years old. See, she's a really good planner. So I asked her to plan my party. See, my mom told me I could invite 20 people. So when I made the guest list and mailed out the invitations, I forgot to put her on!!! It was too late to cancel the invites. They were already to everone's house! I asked my mom if I could have 1 extra person but she said no. I called my best friend and told her. She seemed a little sad. And we got into a fight. I told her that it's better off that she's NOT there! I called her a lot of mean names too. She said that I'm insensitive. But the truth is, I forgot put her on the list on purpose. I really didn't want her there. Is she right? Did I do something wrong? I think she's just jelous because I have more friends. What do you think?

Im kinda asking the same question as that one other girl.
Im 13 years old, never been in trouble, AP classes for science language arts and social studies, 4.0 GPA, and totally good but my parents are really strict.

Things I cant do until im 16:
-drive (obliviously)
-paint my nails
-have a boyfriend
-color my hair (no highlights either) even if it comes off
-no makeup
-no going out after 6
-no staying up past 8 on school nights
-no myspace
-and hecka other stuff

I am 13 and yet I can do things that ALL my other friends get to do. They even took off my door off its hinges because they dont trust me. Im a straight A good teenager (kinda) yet my parents are really strict and barely let me do anything.

How can I get them to lay off a bit?

i need to advice from someone that really knows about this. im about to be 17 in march 22. i want to move out of my house because i hate living at my house i cant play sports i cant get a part-time job even though i am perfectly sane. i dont do good in skool because of this. i want to move in with my best friends mom, i think ill be way better off right there. i just dont want to live here anymore, my mom wont let me leave. but i cant be here anymore, she treats me like a little girl.can i legally move out without her stopping me????or her not having to sign any papers?

if your 18 year old child told you that she was pregnant. keep in mind she has been with the guy for 2 years and truly wants to marry him and both parentsl ike him alot. also the child has already graduated from high school and has a great full time job.

In my opinion my parents are verry strict. Im fifteen years old, and have never been in trouble. I mean neever. No detentions, referals, suspensions, I have a 3.8 gpa, never drank, smoked, done drugs, i dont have a myspace. So why are my parents sooo strict??....I realize that it is their job to protect me and all...but i feel like im being suffocated. Im fifteen years old (16 in June)and have to go to bead at like 10:00...Thats soo stupid. Most of my friends are definately still awake by then. I feel like the baby of the bunch when it comes to my friends, yet im the oldest. I will be old enough to drive in a few months , and stiiilll no permit. Just the thought of not being able to drive is depressing. And Im not aloud to date until im 17. Thats just down right stupid. ALL of my friends have boyfriends..and i dont. I just want to be able to do every thing that my friends do!..Is that soo bad?..Any tips on how to get them to lighten up?.TIPS?....I REALLY need help. Thanks:

To me, this is terrible, frustrating, lets me really down. He's 15 and I know he's a good boy, but is going through a difficult phase. I don't know why he lies so much. Unfortunately now it's hard to trust him.

How can I deal with this and change him without destroying our relationship forever? I was a teen too and I know how hurtful it is for a teen to know his parents don't trust him or her anymore. I know this is devastating, so I want to do something to show him it's not worth lying and breaking promises, that I'm disappointed and that this fatally has hard consequences. But I don't want to break his spirit and so I want to let him know that I still love him and he'll have my trust back if he sincerely decides to change.

ok so ALL of my have a myspace but my parents won't let me!! all my friends have it set on private and i feel like i'm being left out with not having one. I don't think my parents know you can set it to private but i'm 14 almost 15 (REALLY soon) so do you think its unfair that i'm not allowed to have a myspace??
