There isn't really anything that she can buy him...sorry to say. At least help her out a little bit. Give her seven more bucks and make her do chores or something, but there is nothing really at all that you can get him for 3 dollars. Well, she could buy a small picture frame from the dollar store and make it look nice with little simple things, and then put a picture of them two in it.

**I'm glad you let your daughter have a boyfriend because then she knows what it is actually like and doesn't have to sneak around or anything. I wasn't allowed to have a boyfriend until I was 13.

Aw, come on, Mom! You can't chip in another $3, then maybe she could by him some fast food lunch. What she could do is go to the craft store and buy some twine and make him a bracelet. Guys were them, if you look in the sales papers, do you know the kind I mean? They're made out of leather or cord and are less then $3.

GOD bless Dollar stores. You can find a wealth of things there. It is not the cost it is the thought.

go to the dollar store buy a small ceramic pot,and a flower to put in the pot. Take the pot home hand paint the pot and personalize the pot with your initials. Put a little dirt in the pot with the flower along with a little loving careand you will have change back from $3.00. He will love it, he will say so anyway if he is smart.

Here is a cheap idea get an inexpensive frame and put a picture of the two together. That can be 3 dollars or less.

for $3.00!? forget her bf, she probably will give him something else that wont cost her nothin but to open her ... wait ... you should buy a beer with those 3 dollars when u find out shes pregnant at 13. I bet there is no dad around and ur trying to be the "cool mom". but to answer ur question maybe a bday card.

Looks to me like you ARE helping her, heh! Is it his birthday or what's the occasion? That may make a difference... at 14, candy is always an acceptable option. (Plus, it doesn't send the "wrong" type of message.)
