would you accept it as part of growing up if your 14/15/16 year old was drinking with their mates on a saturday night? i know i did it but i am so annoyed if my son does.i hate feeling like such a hypocrite. should i lighten up? its not like he gets wrecked but i feel that its the thin end of the wedge (even though it wasnt for me, i never came to any harm)

Basically, I like a girl (as most guys do), and I was wondering what girls look for in a guy. I already asked one of my friends (who's a girl) and she said that "shallow girls like looks, and smart girls like personality." That was way to vague of an answer for me LOL. I'm really concerned about my cousin.
she is out of control her mum was a druggo and her dad was too.
my grand mother took custody of her and now she is turning 26 in october the same with me. she is smoking and drinking and my grandmother can't control her.
my uncle has raised her well and she calls him dad. she moved ou the other day becasue she has a curfew and she has now got a 19 year old boyfriend.
she has been sexually active many times and i don't want her throwing away her life at 16. like my other cousin.
she is still going to school but doesn't go to learn but goes to smoke and have a good time. she doesn't have a job and is living with her 15 year old friend and her deaf mum who is barely home.
please help me now my uncle is worried and sad.

When I used to teach high school health, I'd ask my classes how many of them had parents who actually talked to them about drugs, sex, relationships, etc. The response was dismal; maybe 3 out of 25-30 kids! This is truly significant. You have a bunch of religious parents saying the school should say nothing, but they don't either! Then where do the kids learn about sex? On the streets! About drugs? At parties. Is that how we want our kids learning this stuff? I don't THINK so! Who'd support more funding for school programs on this OR teach it themselves (I mean REALLY teach it!)?

him,<12 my boyfriend,< 24 and i are going to be moving into our own place soon and i was wondering what rules or boundries other parents use and it effectivly works....bedtimes, sleep overs, rules....it was very unexpected and i know i can do it, i love my nephew and would do anything to make sure he is taken care of properly disregaurding my own age or our conflicts....it is because of investigations i have him to begin with, and it sounds like it wil become permanant...any help would be appriciated

I dream of a world. A world of peace and tranquility.

Think it, in middle school and along with high schhol. You see nice people walking in and out of class; no labels; meaning no preps, jocks, emos, goths, sluts, nerds, etc.

Then, down the hall, near the computer lab! Two guys fighting over quite an attractive girl! What happens next?

Someone jumps in, and solves the conflict. Everyone is now friends.

Then, ah, yes, the dances, I see it now! The DJ plays hit electronica songs, Daniel Bedingfield, Streetlight Manifesto, and all the other non-brainwashing stuff! Then I see, I see two teens, a boy and a girl. The guy has glasses, and is exceptionally smart; the girl is in remedial English, and the guy helps her out! Smarts or not, they all go for personality.

I imagine a world, where teens will stop criticizing each other, stop being brainwashed by such garbage like rap, and help each other out. All would be nice.

What if the world would be like this?

She's going to go to my school next year(year 7)! And all of my friends are friends with her(though they don't hang with her and i have never seen them talk to her) and she was swearing at me on the internet and all that and i'm afraid that she'll turn them against me. This girl is also really big and fat and could hurt me easily. I DON'T want to get in a fight and i DON'T want to talk to her!!! The reason she hates me is because someone tod her that i said i was better than her at something... Which isn't true at all, but she doesn't believe me. What if we're in the same class? She was **Really really** mean to me! She said she's going to hurt me and she said all this stuff about me being a b***** and a s**** and i am freaking out, even though this happened weeks ago! By the way, school starts in 2 days, as i live in Australia. Help? I really need to calm down, but it's hard when you know that someone wants to strangle you to death..

I am grounded until I get all of my letters of apology signed (by teachers and administrators at school) and my daddy is not happy with me. He is talking abour either boarding or military school for next year, and worse yet he has no idea what to do next time he has to go on a long business trip overseas (March or April) because most of my friends parents want me in their homes. I am going to run away and need to know anything that could be helpful, I just need out of here!!!


When to run away, how, what to bring, ANYTHING!!

I have many reasons to run away, and trust me, you wouldn't want to hear them... but my dad is dead, my brother doesn't care, and my mom wouldn't look for me... ok so its been 3 weeks since i had sex for the first time got my period that night i had sex. But now i feel wierd i cant suck in my stomach anymore or just the way i used to my cusin said im probally bloated. i have taken 2 pregnacy test they Both came out negative THank you Jesus but im still scared im cuzins says im just stressin out and what not but what i do want to know is. After you lose you virginity whats goes on in your stomach . Im havin gas and when i say gas i mean gas im very scared i dont know what to do. what are some signs of early pregnacy..Lord help me im to young to be a mom i cant even tell my mom talk less about tellin my brothers. i have know why to get to a clinic the only thing i can do is take another pregnacy test and wait till my next period. can someone pls help me is it that im just stressin myself out or what. Ok, now, starting on Friday, someone (I think) spread a rumor about me liking someone else. This girl who is said to be the person I like is in three of my seven classes.

Anyway, Alyssa (people who say I like, which I don't) told me this, and I was like, "What? No way!"

That's not all. Erin (she's my best friend, and I'm still waiting for her to call me) said that Alyssa and I would make a great couple. She just moved here; I don't know her well!

Well, now for the big question. Should I just ignore the rumor and wait for it to die out, or prove it to be true and make a nice step for myself?

My friends all say I am whipped b/c I went to my g/f's conference meet and when she sprained her ankle I carried her to the trainer (not hard, she weighs like 100lbs max.) and then helped her walk to the podium to get her 2nd place medal
I was a player until I met her.
Does this all make me whipped?? Or just sincere??
