Ok, now, starting on Friday, someone (I think) spread a rumor about me liking someone else. This girl who is said to be the person I like is in three of my seven classes.
Anyway, Alyssa (people who say I like, which I don't) told me this, and I was like, "What? No way!"
That's not all. Erin (she's my best friend, and I'm still waiting for her to call me) said that Alyssa and I would make a great couple. She just moved here; I don't know her well!
Well, now for the big question. Should I just ignore the rumor and wait for it to die out, or prove it to be true and make a nice step for myself?
Now, excuse me, StepMania is calling me.

people will always find someone of something to talk about, best advice is not to let it bother you and dont prove innocent or guilty because eutha way that will make the rumor go on and on and on, just act like you dont hear it and they will get tired of talking about someone who could givva damnzbout what they say and they will find someone else to talk about

I say that, if you like Alyssa, and you are considering making a step in the future, that you do it. Hey, what's the worse that could happen? Everyone thinks you like her anyway!
But I thought you liked Erin! Lol, the drama tv series that could be made of your life in just grade 7....start getting it together, bud, you could have the next big teen drama series by June!

Sounds to me like,you like Erin in a way that she don't want you to,so she found someone that she feels would be good for you in Alyssa,that way you could still be her best friend and have a relationship with Alyssa.

in seventh grade (im in ninth) people spread rumors all the time, justtell this girl that u like her as a friend. dont make them true. u cant make urself like her, and if u dated her anyways then u would hurt her feelings and the other girls u do like are gonna be like "oh hes a playa and he only wants to makeout " and stuff so dont do that. if u do eventually like her thats cool go for the gold but dont do it now. have fun
