on friday, at a school dance, this guy lets call him dillon, had his friend ask we to dance. i didnt really like him as more than a friend, but i mean hes cute. everyone says we look good together, but i dont really know him.
well at the dance, this girl (ill call her ellen) told him to dance with me. Then later, dillons friend said dillon wants to know if youll dance with him. and usaully dillon asks girls himself.
then at the next slow song, dillon came up to me and we started to dance. His friends kept pushing us closer until out stomachs were touching. it was kinda akward.
well then on monday, he completley ignored me ! what is his deal?!?! im so confused...

I just started my period in august and its a little late i think im not sure if its just because i just started but theres no possible way im pregnant i havnt done anything to be pregnant so what is it?

I do not want this to sound demeaning to anyone who reads this but this baffles me!

There are so many young girls on this board who ask if they may be pregnant because they missed there period for the month or they are a few days late. This is all normal when your cycle is changing but yes, you may also be pregnant which brings me to my next question; what about protection? The spread of STD’s? I have an 8 year old daughter & I want to teach her to be safe & smart when the time comes. I understand a lot of young girls don’t want to talk to there parents about this stuff but wouldn’t one think that parents would sit with there kids & teach them about aids, & every other disease that’s out there today? I just feel so bad for these young girls who have sex at such a young age; 12 & 13 is way too young! Physically & emotionally…. Just my 2 cents I guess….

Lots of girls around my age start shaving down there.. but I don't want to shave it all off, but yet I do. I don 't knoe what to do, because my friends do shave but one of my friends doesn't and she says that its better not to shave but all of my other friends say that I should shave.. It's realy confusing and I need to decide.. please help.

What should I do? I love my dad, and he's a wonderful father. I love watching sports with him and my brother, and talking about things with him, and I couldn't ask for a better father. But when he's in a bad mood, it's really scary. He gets in problems with my mom sometimes, and he will say "I'm leaving". I don't know what to do in that situation. When I say to him "I don't like it when you say you're leaving", he always tells me he won't leave, but when he's mad, it seems like he really will. One time, he was really mad at my mom for a very minor thing (she wore a jacket with a hood to temple, and he didn't think it was appropriate), so he broke 4 chairs. It scared me, and I was distracted from school for about the rest of the month. When he was breaking the chairs, I ran up to my room and started crying, and I didn't know if he would hurt me or my mom. I really don't like it when he gets mad, and it really disturbs me. I've talking to my mom about it and she tells me to ingore it.

It was me, my sister jamie, my bff samantha, jamie's bff crystal, and my male cousin tyler on friday night, the day before tyler left for ohio. we were all watching movies in my bedroom at like 11 pm. i'm being pressured about college by my family and teachers and i'm only in the eigth grade. i want to go to julliard but my mom says you have to have money to get in. if i changed my mind about julliard i would go to french culinary institute but my mom says it's too dangerous. my mom also says i won't make it in the real world becuz i'm too sarcastic. teachers say i'm too nice and i need to toughen up and as long as i go to college they'll be proud. my sister says go to college and make something of yourself so i won't be like my daddy. another teacher told me some people that are making millions didn't even go to college. i really don't know what to do.

I was playing tackle football today with my friends, but I don't know what to do. They think I'm not that good at football, even though I really am. This was the first time I've played with them (rather than some of my other friends) so they don't know how good I was. But they saw me playing well, so they did know, but they kept doing this. First of all, they picked me last, which really annoyed me. 7th graders were chosen before me, and I'm a 13 year old boy in 8th grade. Then, after we started, one of the players said "It's tackle football are you sure you want to play", which means he's trying to say I'm not strong enough for it. Then after I said "yeah I'll play", he said "We'll make sure they don't tackle you" which is really annoying. They think I'm horrible, so after every play they'll say "make sure you keep covering your man". It's really annoying, and they think I'm horrible, when I'm one of the best players. Please help! I don't know what to do! Thank You!
