amusement park, nothing for teenagers to do. not even a cool hangout eatery! any suggestions on what i should do??

I know exactly how you feel! My town has absolutely nothing either! We don't have a mall, amusement park, arcade, or anything! On weekends, all the teenagers in town go either to Wal Mart or Lowe's and sit in the parking lot and mess around and talk and just hang out... it sounds really lame, but if you have people that are fun to hang out with then it makes for a great night out on the town! Oh we also ride up and down the main road of town and play yellow light and freeze out. You pile as many people into a vehicle at a time for these games! Yellow light is when riding up and down the road, and the stop light turns yellow, everyone has to hit the roof of the car. The last one to do that has to take off a piece of clothing. You keep going until everyone is naked lol Freeze out is when everyone takes their clothes off and rolls down the window and turns the air conditioner on full blast... the person that gives up has to ride around naked the rest of the night! It sounds kind of strange and perverted but its really funny and a lot of fun!

I know how you feel. I was born and raised in a small town myself. As soon as I was old enough I moved. When I was trapped in the grips of a small town, I started a small "organization". I know what your thinking, "start a club? that dumb!" Well I didn't say "club", I said organization. Now, you and a group of people can get together to mentor younger kids, babysit, tutor. On weekends, rent movies, have small parties. You can even read books together. Have question answer session. Talk about life, love, men, women. The best part of organizations, are the fund raisers. You use the money to pay for your supplies. Also have association dues(fees) that every member pays monthly. It can be as little as 5 to 10 bucks. That money can pay for summer trips or weekend getaways. I promise it will work. The parents won't have a problem mainly because of "all the good you do for the community" The best part about it, it helps you to do and get away with a few things the parents normally wouldn't let you do. What do you think about that?

Learn to love to read, get involved in a church teen program (even if you aren't religious--it's better than nothing). My younger sister went thru hs in a similar situation, and ended up putting all of her socialization energy into her school work, marching band, and church activities. She ended up graduating 5th in her class and is a college student on a full academic scholarship now...
The kids actually hung out at Walmart on Saturday evenings, b/c was the only place open after 8:00pm on weekends! The only other thing to do was to get drunk, smoke weed, and get pregnant... Really intelligent, don't you think??? (NOT) Seems that adults now think the only way to keep kids out of trouble is to eliminate all outlets for socializing, which produces bored, stoned kids...

u could start reading. yea i know it sounds stupid but im 14 and i LOVE 2 read. there r actually some pretty good books for teens and not boring ones like da ones in skool. just a suggestion. otherwise, u can count down the days till u can move out!

why not start something cool to do??
team together with other kids to find a building that no one is using, turn that place into a place for local bands to play at on saturday night.

U betta find a new town 2 kick it in that is wat i do nuttin goes down where I live except 4 mess when da weekend come I chunk up da deuce also maybe you should discuss that with your local officials they might could get something for teenagers to do
