I've decided to pump and feed her from a bottle so that there is no nipple confusion and my husband can feed her also. I will not be working, but I think this is what I want to do... My question is... How long after labor can I start pumping. Will I be able to pump the colostrum or will it be too thick and not enough of it?

I lost a lot of weight, maybe because I'm still nursing my toddler. Before pregnancy I used to weigh 128lbs but was diagnosed border hypotyroid (runs in my family).
Now my thyroid seems fine.
Has anyone gone through this?

I miscarried in july and october. I have a lot of friends who are ttc and are currently pregnant. I love checking up on them because they are my friends but deep down it hurts me because i long for a baby. I am so bitter towards other pregnant women. It's like they are happy and not that im not happy for them but at the same time i get so upset because i cant seem to stay pregnant. It's so hard on me. I mean im not nearly as depressed as i was but it still hurts and i still get majorly jealous of women who are ttc and or pregnant. Is this normal?

am 29 weeks and i went to the dr yestarday, he told me that he needs to see everyweek cause the baby isnt growing as fast as he would like the baby too....i told the dr that when i was born i only weighted 5lbs. (this is my first) idk how much the fathered weighted (not in the pic). he said that at 23%... idk what that means what my question is that should i be scared or not worried about??? i really scared i dont want nothing to happened to my child. i eat healthy and everything so y is this happening to my child??? thank u n advance!!! u can be honest

When i answer a question about abortion on here i get attacked by email.
I am for abortion for many reasons. I am pr-choice but i don't put people down for being Pro-life so why do people put me down for my beliefs?

Should i get disrespectful emails just because i agree with abortion or do you think you should get hate emails for being pro-life?
Should i also get attacked for saying i bottlefed my son and that i would do the same in the future if i have anymore kids?

Last night, when it was time to go to sleep my brother (he's two) was in the bed about to go to sleep with my mom but I came in the room to get my notebook and he jumped off the bed and ran to me crying for no reason. He does it all the time when ever it's this time of night. I picked him up and he said "milk" asking me to take him downstairs to get some milk before he went to bed so I did and when we came back upstairs and I was going to give him back to my mom....he shook his head no. He pulled himself closer to me and said "no, mommy" and tried to turn me the other way so we would go into my room.

How do I get him to go with my mother when it's time to go to sleep so I can go to sleep for school?

i am 26 wks preg, and feel under alot of pressure from the midwives to breast feed! i dont mind using the pump and expressing the milk but i def dont want my baby feeding from my breast! am just so uncomfortable with it. i see my boob as a sexual part of my body for me and my partner i wud not want him near something my baby fed from! am i a weirdo? does anyone else feel the same?

We've been freinds for close to 15 years. I love her and her little girl to death but her daughter is undisiplined and mean. Just one example: I watched her the other day and she yanked a toy out of my two year olds' hand. I told her she could havethe toy in a minute it was Ms' turn. Then I gave the toy back. D smacked me in the face ( I was kneeling next to her.) She tried to amck me again but I caught her arm and told her no, we don't smack. She yelled you no tell me no, ran off, slammed a door, and started to kick me wall. D is only 2,. I've seen her hit heer older sister (freinds' step daughter) and pull her hair. My older two (6 and 5) have told me they don't like her around because she is mean. Ds' mom laughs it off and says she is just a baby. I don't know what to do. I know my kids aren't perfect and have ther moments but they have never been like this. My freind really needs a babysitter and has no family to watch her and can't afford daycare.
