because people always believe that their way is the right way. what happened to ideas, we can have two different ways or ideas of doing something and i'm not gonna telling you your way is crap, maybe i might like your way. maybe if i'm breastfeeding (which i have) i put breast milk in a bottle because i don't like being tied down. if people can't be respectful just delete their email and be done with it.

no and i think its wrong that you get attacked. its fine that they disagree with you but it shouldn't start a series of attacks. I've had an abortion and I'm not pro-abortion but I am pro-choice. I also bottle-fed my baby and if I ever have any other children I also would do the same, she has done fantastic on the formula. As well as the fact that I literally didn't produce any milk whatsoever. People can have their own opinions, that's fine, and if they disagree with you that's okay too. but if they are so shaky in their own beliefs that they feel the need to attack yours in such a vociferous way than I say they are sad and need to relax. Just because I don't agree with you doesn't mean we can't be friends. Me having a different opinion doesn't make us enemies. It makes us different. Welcome to the real world, we're not all made out of the same thread, thank the gods.

I would never be able to breastfeed if I ever had children as the medication I take would go into the milk. Those pro breastfeeding seem to forget that not every Mum can do so.
Being pro choice doesn't mean that every pregnancy has to be terminated! We could all argue until the bovines come home but noone could still fully agree.
As for the emails, just turn the email facility off.
P.S. I agree with you on both subjects!

It comes down to all kinds of different opinions the world has. You should not get attacked for being pro-abortion, I am as well. No one should have to have their baby if they don't want to.
Opinions around the world should just be excepted and thrown under the bridge, but some people think what they believe is right and no one should do anything different. It comes down to being close-minded and overall disrespectful. You didn't do anything wrong at all, it's other people that should respect you for professing your beliefs and respecting theirs. Great question!

No! You should not get attacked for your opinions on the subjects. I too am pro-choice. You should probably change your profile settings so people can not see your email address. It has been shown in recent studies however that your child will get a better start and have better early brain development if you breast feed, but this is still strictly your choice. Some people just can't seem to mind their own business. Take care!

Your opinions are your own for your own reasons. Any time we put our opinions out in the world, others will develope opinions regarding our opinions and on and on... Dig it? I am not trying to offend but the issues you are bringing forth seem to get people all worked up! As for me, I think you may want to research your subject matter to be able to make educated decisions...for yourself. If you do the research, you will also be better able to defend your beliefs. Sometimes what other people think doesn't matter at all. Personally, I don't give a rat's butt (can I say that? or am I gonna get another violation?) about what others think. Be sure of yourself. Trust yourself. OK?

It's never ok to attack someone for their beliefs, but I have to say I think it happens because breastfeeding vs bottlefeeding and abortion are hot topics. They arouse passions either way. I could very easily ask your question as "Why can't some people respect people's opinions on being pro-life and pro-breastfeeding?"
When I was 12, I participated in a March for Life with members of my church in Los Angeles. We didn't swarm an abortion clinic or carry signs with pictures of mutilated, aborted babies. We simply carried signs stating what we believe: Abortion Kills Babies. Some people driving by flipped us off and screamed at us. Was that ok? No. We have the right to express our beliefs just as you do.

If no one ever spoke up about what is wrong in a society what type of world would we live in? Would all murder, slavery and discrimination still be alive? Would women have the right to vote or own land?
As members of society we should have an interest in our next generation and support it not being murdered. For those babies that are allowed to live, we should all want the very best start for them. The very best includes making the decision to breastfeed when physically able to.
Keep in mind that in our not so distant past women were seen as a man's property, could not vote and could not own land. Blacks were kept as slaves. Many people were brave enough to stand up to these long held beliefs and bring about change. Just because thousands of male land owners had the "belief" that what they were doing was right does not make it right. Does it?
How about those whose "beliefs" included the world being flat?
Open your mind. You could be wrong! Gasp!!

Some people feel so strong about their beliefs that they feel the need to "attack" and belittle those who do not agree with them.
I, like you, am pro-choice. The people sending the emails do not hate you. They do not know you.
Also..I breast fed my first and bottle fed my second. They both turned out just fine!
You can always turn off your email capablilities so that the hate mail does not come in.
Stand strong for what you believe in and ignore the haters!!

No, you shouldn't be attacked like that. Some people are just very, very strong in the beliefs.
It's sad that some people are so rude about things like that. Like they think being rude is going to change the fact that some people are pro-choice or pro-formula feeding. Their negative attitude isn't going to change anything, so I don't see the point.
Don't let it get you down, girl. Just ignore it, and don't stoop to their level.

People like to judge and they come across as being rude, because they are.
You can voice your opinions and beliefs with out being mean to others. Unfortunately some don't know how to do that.
I got attacked once because I plan on being a surrogate for my cousin in 2 years, and people found bad in that.
I'm glad you put this question up, let them know when you respond with those types of answers no one take you seriously.
