I am 8 months pregnant, and my baby kicks, moves and wiggles almost constantly. Does this mean she will be a hyper infant? Does it have anything to do with her health? Some of her kicks are painful! (don't get me wrong, I am glad to know she is okay from her movement). Just wondering what anyone else's experience was with an active baby after birth.

Also, could the constant movement trigger labor? I am being treated for cervical insufficiency and preterm labor.

Ok today I didn't go to school because I had a doctor's appointment. My mom insisted on a gynecological exam for me even though I'm not sexually active and still a virgin but I have a boyfriend and one of my friends just got pregnant from her boyfriend. It's really sad that she doesn't trust me and accepted my word that Jamie and I only kiss and cuddle a little bit. Jamie's mom took him to the doctor too and I don't know what a doctor could possibly tell her. My understanding is that you can't tell anything about a boy and what he's been up to from just examing his thing. They think that JUST BECAUSE some people we know went too far that we are going to also. I didn't complain much because I'm afraid she would tell me Jamie and I can't be together anymore. I asked Jamie how he felt about haviing to see a doctor and he said he didn't mind he does whatever his mom wants him too. He said the doctor checked his blood and urine and well other places too.

I am 8 months pregnant...yet i look like a woman who is 4.5 months pregnant. that's how big my tummy is! Does anyone know why this happens to some women and not others? i've gained efficient weight and eat right and exercise right...but i'm still pondering on it! i was small when i was pregnant with my daughter too. i just want to know about this mystery. i mean i dont want to be as big is a tent, but, it would make me feel better if i actually LOOKED 8 months pregnant. if anyone can help, thanks.

Why weren't you on birth control and did you become pregnant because you wanted to trap your guy?

We babysit a one year old and we cant get her to drink a sippy cup on her own. The only way she will drink from it is if you hold it up for her which my mom has done since she was 7 months. If we refused to give give her a bottle for a few days would she finally drink from it or will it be bad for her to not get a drink that long? Any other suggestions?

Seen a question that said: Can i get pregnant by oral sex?
Another one that said: Can you get pregnant with your clothes on?

I mean if you do not know how pregnancy occurs then do you really think you need to have sex?

Just wondering if the symptoms of a yeast infection during pregnancy are the same as when you're not pregnant. I see the OB/GYN tomorrow afternoon; does anyone know if you can take Diflucan or do you have to creams like Monistat?

I am 20 yrs old with a 21 month old son. i remember bleeding a lil bit with him, but that was after my mucas plug fell out and the doc said everything was fine. im not sure if my mucas plug fell out with this pregnancy. i went and got checked at the hospital , i was there forever. and the docs kept saying they dont see blood yet every time i went to the washroom and wiped there was blood on the toilet paper. is this something to be concerned about? perhaps the sex if still a little too rough?

1. It has been proven that breast feed babies are healthier and have fewer allegries and illness.
2. I have noticed a rise in kids with food allergies
3. It appears to me that fewer mothers are breast feeding Is there a connection
When i was growing up i had food allergies but i was like the only one in my class if not school now you go into a school and half the class is allergic to something, Wheat, nuts, the acid in some fruits, chocolate. This is nuts don't you think if more women breastfeed the problems would go away

He's now 19 months, and we've had to take a cab home a few times when we found out we had too many bags (or items too large for the bus). What do I do with my son. I've held him before, and I've buckled him in once. Lately I read an article about booster seats and how little kids can be cut right in half if they don't use a booster because of where the belt sits. Is it safer to belt him in, or hold him? And what do I do when baby #2 is here and I have him/her in a snuggli carrier? I only want to do what's safest for my kids.

He doesn't listen to anything I know like to when to take away the bottle , about table food, the baby's weight of anything even though I'm the only one who takes care of him.Even though I talk to his doctor and read alot of books. He still calls his mother and acts like she know it all and I know nothing. Even I know she wrong once and a while from the doctor. Like dipping the pacfier in honey when he was a newborn. He even tries to tell me what to do ,and he never has don't one thing to take care of him since he was born. What should I do?

my husband and i have been married for 6 months and we just decided to start a family. i found out i was pregnant about a month ago (give or take a month and a half) today i went to my ob-gyn because i had read up on the symptoms (vaginal bleeding) and so i thought it would be a good idea to get a pelvic exam (which is reccomended to see if it is a miscarriage) and i'm upset about the miscarriage, but i'm even more upset because my husband really wanted to be a father, and he was so excited when i told him. so any pick-me-ups would be appreciated.
thank you
