Kicking is a good sign - it means the little one is healthy and active.
I must admit, your question put a smile on my face - my daughter was so active in the womb and she is now 2 years old and she hasn't stopped.
She was crawling at 5.5 months and walking at 10 months.
I think I lost all my baby weight due to running around after her.
I am currently in the first trimester of my second pregnancy and can't wait for the kicking to start again.

My baby was very active when I was pregnant! Constantly kicking me, and hard too! In his ultrasound we had at 18 weeks it showed him moving his arms a lot, and as soon as he was born, there went the arms moving! He always has to have his arms out of the blanket, so he can move them...it's funny! He's a pretty active baby, but he sleeps well. It doesn't necessarily mean your baby will be the same way, because not every active child in the womb is active once they are born. Also, I don't think the constant movement can really trigger labor...my baby was born 3 days after his due date, and a very healthy 7 lbs 8 oz :)
Good luck :)

I'm glad to hear the little one is kicking up a storm! Means she's doing well. But in my experience, it does not indicate a hyper or overly active infant. This coming from someone who has four children....

Well in my experience, the babies that were most active in utero are definitly still the very active ones!! Not hyper, don't worry about that. It's just their personality. As for the preterm labor, see what your dr says about it. I would think that you have nothing to worry about, but with the cervical insufficiency I don't know. Good luck!

you should hope she isan active infant it means she will be VERY VERY SMART and the movement means your baby is UBER HEALTHY keep up the good work u almost there. When your baby decides she is ready it doesn't matter how much she moves she will just come out the last month is super uncomfortable SORRY

i am almost 36 weeks pregnant and my doc said that the reason why she is moveing so much is because shes running out of room in my belly so when she moves so much like that its her trying to find room so she can get comfortable, so it sounds like you are going threw the same thing i am. good luck sometimes when she kicks it feels like shes up in my ribs and it hurts, hopefully you arnt going threw the same thing. =/
