No way! It is fine, just make sure he still gets milk...even if it is from a sippy cup.

No, it's fine. He's advanced in that area then, but make sure the sippy cup is only used for juices and water. He still needs milk until 2, and it needs to be measured...in a bottle.

that's fine. I had my baby use the sippy cup to drink water when he was 6 mos. i breastfed so he never used a bottle for milk feeding. now that he's 2, he drinks his milk in a glass. i'm so proud of him.

Want to trade kids? This past week we have been pulling our 20 month old off the bottle and it is horrible! Screams for like an hour. We can rock him and soothe him but he doesn't stop and I feel that doing that is pampering him to much now at night and it may become a habit. Be glad hes off of it! :)

No, the sooner the better for you both. I took my son off the bottle at 9 months because he was shaking it on the carpet and furniture.

No, count your blessings that it was so easy. Haven't your read the countless posts on here from people TRYING to get their kid to switch from the bottle to the cup before the age of one?

no not really and with all the parents who have so much trouble with getting their kid off the bottle rejoice just make sure he is still getting the proper amount of fluids he needs per day and he should be fine!

That's just right. Most doctor's recommend babies get off the bottle by their first birthday. Congrats!

My son did the same thing. Around one is the recommended age, so it's perfect.

You're about to face the toddler years - consider any battle you don't have to fight a blessing.
