Pregnancy & Parenting - 4 January 2007

My son is 4 months old and I am pretty sure i'm pregnant again, (haven't got the results back yet). I'm feeling the same way I did when I was pregnant before, nausia and hate the site of food. But I haven't got my period back yet from having my son so i'm not sure if I could be pregnant.
Can I still breastfeed my son if i'm pregnant?

My kids wear underware during the day, and pull-ups at night.
I understand that it's common sense to say... when they wake up dry. But I'm asking from people who know from siblings or their own children..... What is the AGE GROUP I should be expecting them to grow out of pull-ups at night?

My 3 yr old (almost 4) is such a whinner.. I understand sometimes, but its really getting annoying. I have tried everything. I talk to her like a big girl, tell her to go to her room till she can talk without whinning, everything.. but nothing seems to help.
It can be the littlest things too..
ex: She wanted candy at 8 am. I said no, you need either cereal, pop tart, toast, ect.. (and i gave her a choise) but no. She started to whine.. i talked to her calmly about it, but it didnt help.. what can i do??

I'm a sixteen year old girl and have been having really weird symptoms e.g. nausous, dizziness, frequently urinating, headaches, mild cramps... most of all i haven't had my period for three days now. my bf and i used the withdrawal method but right on the day i think i was ovulating. i'm not sure if i am pregnant or not. when can i home test and when would it be acurate (do i have to wait a week to see if the hormone levels are high enough)? how do i tell my mom if i am? and how much more info can someone tell me to help me know what the heck is going on with me!!!!

k so here they are:

- when is the right time to start shopping on your own?
- what should a 13 year old have as a monthly allowence?
- is highliting your hair 1 time bad?
- is using the anorexic method bad if u want to lose weight? but then going back to the normal diet after losing the weight?
- is 13 a good age to start going to stores like american eagle, hollister, abercrombie and fitch?
- are you supposed to shave on your arms?

I just found out I am pregnant!
My period was supposed to come 2 weeks ago and ever since, everytime I walk or move I feel like I am getting my period. Is this normal?
Sometimes I could swear my period is there, I go to the bathroom and ... nothing.
This is my first pregnancy, so I wonder if this is normal and if you experienced this feeling?

My partner and I have been together for more than 10 years and although I do beleive he does want children he is frightened of committing. He has been at the point twice in the past and has then changed his mind and made excuses. It is frustrating and I cannot help becoming resentful. I feel he is making me risk my fertility.

I am having it done next wednesday and so far everything I have read says that it is done by laparotomy which is a much longer recovery. I go in for my pre-op tomorrow, but was just wondering. Also if it is just laroscopy what should I expect for recovery time?

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for over year now and have had no luck. We have a 3 year old so we know we can conceive, but we are getting so frustrated because we wanted our children closer together. I have been told to look for vaginal dicharge and when I have that, we will try, but obviously have been unsuccesfull. Anyone have any other tips.

I am around 20-21 weeks pregnant. I have been feeling the baby move every night for a few weeks now. Today is Thursday and I haven't felt baby move since Tuesday night. My daughter is nine and going through early puberty (has breasts, body hair, body odor, has gotten some pimples). She has not started her period *yet* but I know it's got to be coming soon. I have no idea how to approach the subject with her. She's only nine and I am not sure she can handle the emotional part or the responsibility of taking care of herself....She's a tomboy and I still have to literally nag her just to brush her teeth and wash her hands!

I know there are tons of sources ONLINE for PARENTS regarding early puberty and I've read some. What I am looking for are resources for girls - books or movies preferred, that might help us deal with this. I just don't know how to explain to a 9 year old that she may be bleeding soon, why, what it means, and how important it is to keep herself clean/change pads....that sort of thing.

Help :-) This is a serious issue to parents...please no perverts or jerky answers, *please*!!!

My son FREAKS out when he gets water near his eyes. I'm not sure why, he has been in play 'n learn swim classes since he was 6 months old and LOVES to swim but will NOT put his face in the water or let water be poured over his head. I'm afraid he'll still be taking baths when he's 20 at this rate LOL

Is there anything I can do to help him overcome this? Any ideas would be appreciated :)

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the vaginal discharge that is experienced before a period is the same in very early pregnancy? I get very minimal discharge before my period and i was wondering if i can experience the same thing but be pregnant?

I am a certified EMT in Ohio, and have a few years experience as a live in Nanny. My home is a block from the Elem. school and 2 block from the jr.high/high school. i know kids go throught the terrible twos but my little boy is so aggressive toward myself himself and other people he doesnt really know, when he gets told off, he becomes like this, this is not my first child i have another boy who is 5, he went throught the terrible twos also, but nothing like this, i have tryed the usual methods ie, naughty step, smacking (which does'nt help and i would say makes him worse), can anyone HELP. thanks
