My son is 4 months old and I am pretty sure i'm pregnant again, (haven't got the results back yet). I'm feeling the same way I did when I was pregnant before, nausia and hate the site of food. But I haven't got my period back yet from having my son so i'm not sure if I could be pregnant.
Can I still breastfeed my son if i'm pregnant?

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES you can nurse both if you want. Your body knows how to do everything in just the right way. I just asked my lactation cunsultant this question two days ago... she said " when you get pregnant with a second baby and you are currently nursing, you can nurse as long as the baby wants. When you are ready to give birth the milk will change back to colostrum. (for the new baby) if your first baby wants to keep nusing that is fine also. (but most will quite because the milk is to rich for them to like it anymore) (natural weening, where do you loose?) But if they both decide to keep nursing, great. they can share. Your body will continue to produce enough milk for both of them if you want!!!!! AWSOME EH!!!! congrats and continue until your first wants to quite on his own. nothing bad can come of it. (by the way, this information came from a WIC consultant. so if you have more questions contact your local Women Infant Children Center.

You can - but it's really not advisable. The caloric and nutritional demand on your body would astronomic! You might be cheating either baby of the nutrition they need because it will extremely difficult to adequately supply for both at the same time.

Get advice from your doctor, especially about what to eat if you go ahead. You will need the most intensely nutritional food you can get your hands on, plus at least 800 calories more a day than you normally need (500 for breastfeeding and 300 for the baby).

Yes...I nursed three of six while pregnant with the next. Just get lost of water and eat well. As long as you and both babies are doing well, it's no problem. But do discuss it with your OB and your son's pediatrician to be sure all three of you are thriving. Best of luck and congratulations again!

I am pretty sure that you can breast feed while pregnant. You'll just have to eat more right foods since you'll be supplying two babies ...

but ask your doctor ..

I know that you can get pregnant while you are breats feeding. I'm not sure if you can continue to breast feed while pregnant.

Wait and see.

I don't see why you can't. If your concerned call your doctor to see what they say. I really don't see any harm in you breastfeeding your baby while your pregnant.
