It isnt necessarily correct to say that just because you had one c-section you'll also have to have one with other pregnancies. It may be possible that people say that because there is a risk of scar tissue being there or depending on the reason for the first "c" (like inadequate pelvis) you may have to have another one but it's not always the case. Many women go on to have a "VBAC" which is Vaginal Birth After C Section. I would consult your doctor to see what your options are. Every woman is different. Best of luck to you!

Not necesarily. There are a lot of factors, mainly why you had c-sections before, what type of cut they made before, how long it has been since your last c-section, and what risk factors there are in the current pregnancy.

If when you had your previous cesarean they made an emergency vertical cut instead of the much more common horizontal one, if it has been less than 15 months or so since the last one, if there were complications with healing last time, or if this pregnancy is at risk for whatever happened last time to warrant a c-section happening again, the doctor will most likely want to do another cesarean.

I had a cesarean because my son was frank breech and, since he was 10 day overdue when they finally scheduled me to come to the hospital, the amniotic fluid was low. My midwife called in an OB and he said that we could try to turn the baby around, but it only had a 50-50 chance of working and it would hurt, or we could schedule a cesarean.

I chose the cesarean, and at my 6-week checkup, the OB said that it healed wonderfully, and, barring any future complications, I would be an excellent candidate for a V-BAC (vaginal birth after cesarean).

I was told that having a c-section causes the muscle to weaken in your uterus. It is a possibility that complications can occur if you have another child after that the old fashioned way. Some drs do allow their patients vbac (vaginal birth after c/section). It depends on the patient and what the dr feels is best for mom and baby!!

it depends on how long you have between each pregnancy. if it has been over 2 years you can have what is called a vback and that is a vaginal delivery. the dr just has to watch out for over bleeding. if it is under 2 years yes you have to have another csection due to scared tissue

You don't have to, but most doctors will advise it b/c statistically, if you had one most likely you will have to have another.
