We have a winter formal around the begining of Febuary. I know that it is a long way away but I need some help pn picking out a dress. I have a fair skin tone, medium length dark brown hair, green eyes, have a very curvy body, a little extra weight. Also I am about 5'8. So if you have any suggestions for me on color,style, or lenght of the dress it would be most appriciated. And if you want to add anything else it would be great!

I am 6 weeks pregnant and I have been spotting off and on for 2 days. I went to the ER this morning and had a transvaginal ultrasound done. The Dr said that the baby was very low in the uterus and gave me a 50% chance of losing the pregnancy. He said that the spotting was normal and had nothing to do with the baby's position. What I want to know is why does this mean I have such a highrisk of M/C?Isn't a low implantation what cause placenta previa? Women carry to term with that , don't they? So why was I given such bad odds?

I have been nursing now for almost 4 wks and my nipples are still sore and I dread each feeding. I have gone thru 3 lactation consultants to check latch on and read many internet sites on it and went to a group meeting -- will it ever be painless as some seem to make it seem?

im 21, and in my last year at university, i have been with my boyfriend 10months and ive just found out i am 5 weeks pregnant, i think i want to keep it, but i am so scared and im not sure whether i am mature enough to have a baby, how do i know that im doing the right thing, help im scared!!!!?

I do 5 minutes at a time abotu 3 times a day.
She is 3 months old almost and it is so painful to hear hear her cry so hard, but I know I have to do it. I just wish I could have her do it for longer but it's torturous!

I know the baby is only the size of a piece of rice or somethin' like that, so it's not the baby taking up space...why is my belly so big? I miss my flat belly and I thought I'd have it for atleast another month or two but... I can't even suck this in!! AGHHHHHHH!!! I need answers, someone help!

I'm 9 1/2 weeks pregnant, and scared to go to the doctor. I moved to this area a year ago when i got married and my doctor that i had my whole life is gone, and im scared to go to a new doctor. I'm also scared that i'll loose the baby cause of an shot i got accidently at work the other week, even though a doctor i talked to for advice said after 10 days and nothing happened it should be okay. But i'm still scared ill go in and the ultrasound will show a dead baby, and i dont want to go alone, and my husband is too busy with work to go with me. And our families dont know yet cause we dont want to tell them tell after a visit to the doctor to let us know everything is fine. How do i get over the fear of seeing the doctor?? Also when do people start showing?

i had unprotected intercourse on 12/2 and 12/9 my pd was due 12/20......i feel no symptoms of a pd, just feel tired sometimes i get headaches....but mostly extreme hunger. i wanted to know if its too early to test or should i wait till early jan.?

my due date is this coming wednesday, and for the past few days i've been having a lot of pelvic pressure. it varies from a feeling like shes scracthing me from the inside, to a feeling like shes pushing so hard she'll fall out. is this normal?? i dont know if its just because she has dropped, or if it could be something else. maybe just a normal discomfort of late pregnancy. it doesnt feel like pressure on my bladder, but pain like something is being squeezed that shouldnt. sometimes i can even feel it in my lower back and around my hips.

I am pregnant with my 2nd child. So far, this pregnancy has been the complete flip-side of my daughter's. I was very sick with her very tired and felt horrible. This one, I have not had anything wrong at all (knock on wood). My Q is: Did you find that if your pregnancy was different, you were having a different sex than your other pregnancy? Hi I was hoping someone can help me I took my bp at the pharmacy today and it read 91/44 and the pharmacy told me that it vas very low and i should let my doctor know but my doctor is gone for the holidays should I be worried I also have some light headedness I have not experienced any morning sickness in my preg. actually I have been pretty lucky my last pregnancies I had the opposite I had toxemia with both and had to be put on bp pills to lower my blood pressure I just can't understand why it would be low if anyone has had the same kind of thing or knows a little about this your information would be greatly appreciated.

im 19 and I have been dating my boyfriend for 3 years, and I'm madly in love with him. I can picture myself with him when I'm older and could never imagine being apart. He goes away for college( an hour away) and i stay home for school. I don't get to see him much so it gets really hard. Its almost like being single but being tied down at the same time. Anyways, last night my bestfriend had some people over to play wine pong. I usually never drink so i got pretty tanked fast. So as the night went on i kept flirting with this guy( I've known him for about a month). I was so drunk, i didn't even realize what i was doing. The next thing i know were making out and fooling around. Eventually our clothes were off. He slde inside of me for like 5 seconds and then i said that i couldn't cuz i have a bf. He said ok and we stopped right then. Now i feel guilty and feel like i should tell my boyfrined. I love him though and dont want to ruin what we have. what should i do?

There is a mother who has a baby around the same age as mine and we have been communicating with one another via email because our significant others are friends. Let me give you some examples of some of our correspondence and you can tell me if she sounds like she's being competitive or if I'm just reading into things because I'm having feelings of inferiority and jealousy or something...

I emailed that we've been pretty lucky in the diaper rash department... she emails back "My baby has not gotten a diaper rash at all. So happy!"

I email that we're switching to cloth diapers and she emails me back "Cloth diapers are a little messier and much more work for the parents, but a whole lot better for our environment. That is the main reason why I wanted to try them."

I email that I bought a book on how to make baby food at home and she emails back "I am definitley going to make my baby's food at home. It's soooo much cheaper and healthier."

What do you honestly think?
