When you're younger than 25, maybe it seems that way. There're actually 365 days in a year - except for leap year. (If this was a serious question, that is...) After 30 and especially after kids, it seems as if there are about 250 days in a year!

The vernal equinox year is currently about 365.242375 days long. The Gregorian leap year rule gives an average year length of 365.2425 days.
So it's usually 365 days, but every 4 years, another day is added to the calender (Feb. 29) to account for the additional .242 days.
