Pregnancy & Parenting - 30 November 2006

My period were supposed to start on 23 and they din't start then, so i got all scared and i worried alot about a possability of me being pregnant ( one time the condome broke and i am not on the pill ) anyways I was so scared. But today my period started. I was soooooo happy but at the same time confused. Why would that happen ???

A lot of the answers I read on here talk about ultrasound photos early on in pregnancy, here in my province in Canada...you get ONE ultrasound at or around 20 weeks..I don't think it's fair.
I'm wondering how often you pregnany ladies can get in to get an ultrasound, are there limits? And what state or province do you live in?

IM so freaked out

we used the withdraw method (i know i know please dont lecture im freaked enough) during the tail end of my ovulation so i thought it was safe

today is 12 days later. i wiped and there was brown junk ..sorry there is no other way to decribe except brown slimy junk ! this never happens i heard you can have implantation spotting..but isn't that red blood !! please help oh please....

could it be an STD?? what would it be

I took a clearblue easy test 5 days before I should start my period. The pregnant line is hardly there and it is just a pin size line. Could I still be pregnant?

I need ideas about toys that have worked for other kids. My daughter is almost 17 months old and we have spent hundreds in toys that she will not play with. She actually has 1 toy that she plays with constantly, an Elmo and Cookie Monster magna-doodle. It is like toys geared to her age bore her. She would rather mess with grown up stuff. Has anyone else has a child more interested in remote controls and cel phones then the classic fisher price toy or am I the only one?

My son was in an altercation with another boy during this my son said "get off the bus I will kill you"and he was expelled for this they have a no tolerance for threating other people. My son is 15 and goes to Lindhurst High School and I understand this policy with all the stuff that goes on in schools but know my son is on independent studies because there is not an alternate school that is excepting new students and with this he is not doing so well and does not get his work done Iam worried that now we may have to deal with sarb and my going to jail because he is not doing what he is supposed to I work full time and we argue every day about him getting his work done. I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to anything else I can do? Iam in contact everyday with other schools and he is on waiting lists but this has been since October and still no openings I'am at a loss do not know what else to do.

I'm 37 weeks pregnant and I just had a doctors appointment. The doctor said I lost 1 lb. The past two appointments before that I had gained 5 lbs each time (horrible I know!) I hadn't changed my eating habits much since then...in fact I actually might have eaten a little more, because of Thanksgiving, yet I still lost 1 lb!

Is this normal?

Should I be losing weight toward the end or gaining more?

This is my first pregnancy and I've gained a total of 36 lbs...does that sound about right?

I know I asked this question last night, but I wanna get more answers tonight..
My husband and I just found out we are pregnant with numero deux. I think it's too early to start telling people, I wanna wait a while and tell family first, he agrees and we plan on telling everyone Christmas Day.
Now I want some cool ideas on telling them. This is what I'm thinking: there's a beautiful statue of a pregnant woman standing, and the father is knelt on one knee with his ear to the belly. I think it is cute and would like to own it. I wanna buy it and wrap it, and just before we all sit down to christmas dinner, have him give me the present to open in front of everyone...they'll all go ballistic, but this may be my last pregnancy and I wanna make the surprise worthwhile..any ideas/suggestions?
How did you tell your family? Did you do anything special?

I can't stop thinking about having as many children as possible. I know it's not wise to since I am far from rich, not exceptionally patient, and I'm also quite small. My two year old is too heavy for me to carry up the stairs already!
Anyhow, I'm thinking it's some wierd genetic thing because my grandma, and four of her daughters all had between 6-13 biological children each only stopping because of menopause.
What do you think? Is this lunacy genetic?

Me and my big bro were just talking and I asked him what he did last night cuz he came at abt 4:36 knocking at my window to open the door for him so my dad wouldn't caught him. Then he said he was at a girls house. Then the subject moved to sex and abt being a virgin. He said he was a secondary virgin and there is no such thing as that if you have sex with a girl then at its you lose your viginity. How can he be a virgin if he just had sex yestarday thats stupid, he said that he decided to become a virgin months ago how is a virgin if he has sex all the dog on time. He said that he is gonner start tomorrow but he fails to get the fact that when you eat a girl then there is no going back.This is stupid.We keep aguring abt that prove to him that I am right and he is wrong.

I have a 5 year old cousin and today she asked to use the bathroom and her teacher said NO.She had to go badly so she said it is an emergency and I can't wait any longer her teacher said that she has to wait for 25 minutes but by the time it was 25 minutes she already wet her self.
