I know I asked this question last night, but I wanna get more answers tonight..
My husband and I just found out we are pregnant with numero deux. I think it's too early to start telling people, I wanna wait a while and tell family first, he agrees and we plan on telling everyone Christmas Day.
Now I want some cool ideas on telling them. This is what I'm thinking: there's a beautiful statue of a pregnant woman standing, and the father is knelt on one knee with his ear to the belly. I think it is cute and would like to own it. I wanna buy it and wrap it, and just before we all sit down to christmas dinner, have him give me the present to open in front of everyone...they'll all go ballistic, but this may be my last pregnancy and I wanna make the surprise worthwhile..any ideas/suggestions?
How did you tell your family? Did you do anything special?
Thanks for your input!

Thank you so much for the Brian Protheroe answer. You have no idea how good it feels to finally know the name that's been haunting me for years. I am forever grateful. Congratulations on the news and may he/she be an extraordinary blessing.

I think your idea is awesome. I am pregnant with # 2 also, but we didn't go that extravagant on telling, but I say go for it! If you can afford that statue and hubby agrees to do that, then what is the problem? What a great Christmas surprise that will be for everyone!

What we are doing on Christmas to tell my family is For my mom and my dad we are going to wrap up a diaper bag, bottles, two bibs that say I love my grandma and grandpa, pacifiers, and some diapers we are also going to include the ultrasound that we get back from the doctor.and for my motherin law and father in law we are going to get one of those picture frames that is matted and has a few holes for pictures, and we are going to put the ultrasound picture in the middle we are really excited to start telling people. Good luck!

A cool idea my brother and wife did was for each me and my brothers give us a present, the present was a wooden frame with the words painted on: I *heart* My Auntie (or uncle, depending) same thing for my mom and dad, they got 'Grandparents' and in the frame was a picture of the ultrasound.

It was the COOLEST way of finding out.

i think of a funky theory could be to wrap a contemporary and characteristic your mom open it. Indside would be a letter that asks "what you do choose for 'Christmas: a boy or a girll?'" After she reads it, i think of she would be able to get the belief, i wish you think of of something in case you do in comparison to this theory. Oh, via the way, congrats on the information! Haveing your 2nd toddler is large, you bear in techniques plenty approximately your first one, and you experience alot smarter. reliable success!
