You can take Tylenol. Or you can take sudafed. It is safe. Also you can have couch drops. They help a lot. And if you are congested you can use Vicks Vaporub. It helps. I used it on my chest while taking a warm bath and just breathing deeply. I actually got better before anyone else. Thank goodness. Good luck. I hope you feel better soon.

Here, this will work!

I don't like taking medicines. Basically, cold medications don't really fix the problem anyway, they just numb you to the symptoms. If I don't want my liver processing medications, I sure wouldn't do that to an unborn baby.
What I do if I feel really miserable is dress up in comfortable, warm clothing like sweats and get under a blanket. Drink hot water from a coffee cup that you have heated up in the microwave. That'll clear your sinuses. Occasionally go outside for about an hour at a stretch. At first your nose will run a lot. But after you've used up about a dozen kleenex your sinuses will clear up. It's the dry air inside that is causing your problems - that's the root cause of your sinus infection (besides the bugs) in the first place. Cold outside air is actually much better for you because it's not so danged dry.

You can't take aspirin or most decongestants. Talk to your pharmacist about what you can take.

Mostly you're going to be limited to natural remedies.

You can steam your head by half filling a large bowl with very hot water and making a 'tent' with a towel to breath in the steam - it'll loosen everything up and allow you to breath better.

Drink plenty of hot liquids and liquids generally.

Ginger tea is nice and warming - you can make it by boiling some slices of root ginger in water for a few minutes and then straining it through a tea strainer or a piece of muslin. It's good with lemon and honey which will also help your cold.

Chicken soup really is good for you. Preferably made by your mom, but a packet will do!

Olbas do a 'baby Olbas' which is really nice to put on your pillow and helps clear your nose.

Hope you feel better real soon!

There are some medicine that are special for pregnant women, cause when you're pregnant is not everything what you can take. I personally got several colds during my pregnancy and I never took anything. It takes longer to get rid of the cold but I thought that my baby was gonna be a lot better if I didn't take any medicine.

Yes you can take sudefed or musinex or Tylenol brand cold medicine. I had a head cold for over a month and a half. I keep taking all this stuff and finally got tired of feeling bad, I went to the hospital and seen the ER doc and he gave me an antibiotic. It has helped so much. Don't let them make you get to this point of flu symptoms like they did me. I hope you feel better.

I have a 6 week old and I had a god awful cold when I was about as far along as you. You can take robatussin DM, sudafed, tylenol, benadryl...my doc had me take the benadryl just to get some sleep. Hope that helps!

You can take Tylenol, Comtrex or Sudafe. Only chose one. Don't take them all together. Or you can always call your doctor's office and ask the nurse.

If it's a sinus cold, I can't help you, but if you have a sore throat, a mixture of lemon juice, honey, and hot water can be very soothing.
