For most women, this question has 2 answers.
During the first pregnancy, several factors cause women's exterior skin to stretch less during the first 6 months of pregnancy. These factors can include the firmer tension of the skin as well as women's tendency to eat better and watch their weight gain during their first pregnancy. Most women notice a tightening of their waists in their clothing during the 4th or early 5th month.
Unfortunately, these factors tend to disappear during subsequent pregnancies. Women are generally less rigid in their diets the 2nd time around and their skin, having previously been stretched, will stretch easier and earlier. Subtract up to a month from the time when clothing tightness was first noticed during the first pregnancy (late 3rd to early 4th month).
Of course, wearing certain types of clothing can mask most noticeable expansion of the waistline for up to several months, but these vary too much to try and tie down when they stop working.

I was 5 month pregnant. My sister started showing already and she is only 12 weeks. It varies from woman to woman. It just depends on her body.

Around 28 weeks. I know! You spend more than 1/2 of your pregnancy not even looking pregnant and then all of a sudden towards the end you blow up.

I could wear my jeans up till about 2 weeks before my daugher was born! I just had a cute little bump in the front. I think that staying active during your pregnancy is important and will make a huge difference.
