We dont have a lot of money so we bought our son a $100 dollar twin size matress from Ikea. Now its time to buy our other son a matress and we still dont have much money to spend. This morning I tried to lie down on it to see if we should do the same for number 2 and it was so uncomfy to lie on. My husband says it doesnt matter because hes so light. Did anyone else have this problem? What should I do?

She got her 2 teeth when she was about 6 or seven months and hasnt gotten anymore since only teething. Has this happened to your child. Should i worry. She seems to be developing well at everything else.

i have always said through my life that i never wanted kids or get pregnant, and my boyfriend and i live together and have thought about having a baby, i am super scared and nervous but i wouldn't mind it now, we have planned out what we have to do and what we need and i think that we are ready and so does he.

How can i overcome being scared and nervous and swap it with the excitement and happyness sitting in the back of my head?

period due oct 12th (current day 10th oct)
i had sex 3 days before (9th oct) my period and several times before that (including my ovulation date 28 sept) (unprotected) what would be my chances (high, low or moderate) of being pregnant?

when should i test? (i have a EPT)

im excited ans nervous but i want to no, without having a blood test...

My Daughter is a month old and I know they say that you aren't supposed to let babies sleep on their tummy but the other day on tummy time she fell asleep and she stayed sleeping for awhile and she was really relaxed and let go of alot of gas. She is a really gassy baby and now I find that if she is sleeping on her tummy she sleeps so much better. I sit with in eye shot of her to make sure she is ok but I never fall asleep when she is on her tummy and sleeping. Is it ok to let her sleep on her tummy as long as I am watching her constantly?

Try to list both sides and then tell me why you support one over the other. I am trying to understand this whole issue without being judgemental. (For example I heard on NPR today someone say he is pro-choice but with some limitations. I want to understand where one draws the line).

I have a friend who insist that her daughter is ready for table food and gives her anything from pizza to pastas to steak to chocolate cake. She started her daughter on stage 1 foods at 3 months old and at 4 months old she was eating stage 3 foods. I know all babies are different, but every mom and doctor I have talked to say wait until they are at least 9-10 months old before giving them table food. Her daughter weighs 23 lbs and was born at 8 lbs 9 oz. My son is the same age and is one stage 1 and occasionally stage 2 foods and weighs about 17 lbs. It seems that her daughter is heading down the path to be an overweight child. Is she feeding her baby table food too soon?

i lost my baby 5 weeks ago i was 2.5 months along i got a d&c and the doctor said there was nothin rong with me he told me to wait 3 months to let my body hill but the last week we have just been pulling out how safe is this ? i just ended my periode 2 days ago and he didnt pull out isnt there a three days after your periode your safe? if i endup prago will it be ok?

I went for a ultrasound to find out what I was having, the lady said she looks tiny so she moved my due date back just by a few days, I asked her how everything looked cause they told me with my first pregnancy, but this lady told me you have to discuss that with your doctor I am not aloud to, does that mean something is wron my doctor hasnt called me I have a appt in a week, I was asking how everything looked cause I have gained only about three puonds but I am showing allot and the baby is deffinately kicking allot you could even see her kicking in the ultrasound allot, could it just be the technician and that is why she didnt say how anything was? if there were something wrong my doctor would have called me in for a earlier appt. I eat pretty healthy and atleast 3 times a day with snacking.

My son is 11 months old and has never had tears when he cries. Our ped just sent us to and eye doctor that said it is really rare, but some people do not produce tears when they cry. Anyone heard of this? It is permenant? He does not have a blocked tear duct, his eyes look normal- no reddness or swelling. Does this condition have a name?

I tend to have 50 day cycles, so i took clomid this month. I am on day 26, therefore, Wed will be two weeks from when i think ovulation may have been. Yesterday the sides of my boobs started to become sore. I took a First response this afternoon hoping that it would tell me something a little early, but it was negative. I'm not sure what to think. I really have a feeling the clomid worked. Usually on my 50 day cycles, my boobs wouldn't start hurting til day 38 or 40...so if they are now at day 26, would you think it's because i'm pregnant? I'm just thinking that if i wasn't and i was going to have a normal period...they wouldn't hurt quite yet. anyone been in this situation? I have no idea when to expect a test to be positive. You hear all these girls who got one at 10 days past ovulation and its discouraging. Thanks.

My son has nearly 16 teeth and I know I should be brushing them at least once or twice a day, but I have yet to figure out how. I started out giving him a toddler toothbrush with the Toddler Orajel paste just to chew on/play with (didn't work). I then tried brushing my own teeth before brushing his (didn't work). I really don't know what else to try. He won't let me near his mouth without clamping his lips shut. The only way I can even get to his teeth is to pry his mouth open while he screams in protest and then, as you can imagine, I can't really do an effective job of brushing. How does everyone else do it? I'm at a loss here.

it almost makes me want to cry. If a guy you've liked for 2 years and haven't talked to in about 1, and all you ever really did was look/stare at him in between periods, at lunch and stuff, and now he's in one of your classes and everyone in a while you look up to find him looking at you but he looks away quickly when you do, does that mean he may like you? We had a sorta of friendship about two years ago, he was lawyas joking around with me and called me ugly, but I knew he was always just joking. I'm trying to get over him but it's kinda hard.
