Try a change of scenery. Take baby for a walk in the stroller. Put her in the car and drive around the neighborhood. And while you are out go to the drug store and get some gas drops for her. Her fussiness could possibly be caused by gas.

Have you tried a sound machine? My one year old has one in her room and I wish I had thought of this at 1 or 2 months b/c she was the same way...cried for no reason and wouldn't take a nuk....eventually she did take one and became much more content.

I have a four year old daughter who went through this stage...

Try giving her a bath, or setting her in a bath seat in warm water. Of course watch her at all times if you do this. My daughter loved sitting in her car seat on the washer, it always put her to sleep. Some people say to hold your baby in a sling seat while you vacuum, it can be relaxing. If your baby is newborn, she may just need to feel secure. Wrap her in a warm blanket, and rock slowly. If all else fails, ask your doctor for advice, maybe a checkup on your baby.

try a ride in the car or if you have a swing set that would work, ive been through this im a mother of 6. we would put the baby in the carrier the kind that rocks and rock and rock and rock,or try a soothing bath.my daughter always like it when i sang to her.but if its colic theres not a whole lot you can do my son had colic and he would scream for hours on end theres was nothing me or his father could do to comfort him and then he would just stop, actually the more i think about it i remember he seem to like it when we rubbed his tummy, hes 6 now so its been awhile so just comfort your baby and wait.whatever you do dont loose it even if you have to take a break for awhile and let someone else help!

Its probably colic. Do things that will encourage her to fart. Gas and babies dont mix.

If its not colic she might be teething. Babies of all ages teeth. Even a couple months old.

Or it could be that baby is tired and fighting sleep, in taht case let her cry.

She could be bored, talking to her, singing or walking her around might help.

Depending on the cry you should be able to figure it out. Theres a different cry to hungry, pain, and boredom.

You need to figure out your baby's needs.

After nourishment, dry diaper, and mother's comfort, check: too hot? too cold? article of clothing too tight? a hair or thread wrapped around a finger or toe? gassy? (try laying baby on her back and pedaling her legs like a bicycle).

Good luck!

with my son i used to sing. i know this may sound kinda stupid but singing the itsy bitsy spider always worked and still does. also another thing to try is a warm bath and a baby massage. it may not seems like its working at first but give it a try. good luck

Take her for a car ride or put her carrier on top of the drier. For some reason, motion often helps.
