I tend to have 50 day cycles, so i took clomid this month. I am on day 26, therefore, Wed will be two weeks from when i think ovulation may have been. Yesterday the sides of my boobs started to become sore. I took a First response this afternoon hoping that it would tell me something a little early, but it was negative. I'm not sure what to think. I really have a feeling the clomid worked. Usually on my 50 day cycles, my boobs wouldn't start hurting til day 38 or 40...so if they are now at day 26, would you think it's because i'm pregnant? I'm just thinking that if i wasn't and i was going to have a normal period...they wouldn't hurt quite yet. anyone been in this situation? I have no idea when to expect a test to be positive. You hear all these girls who got one at 10 days past ovulation and its discouraging. Thanks.

You could be but it could be the clomid too, my boobs hurt badly on clomid and earlier then they normally would start hurting, I too had long cycles about 40 days.

I have been told by many that first response test are brutal. Hit and miss. Sounds like you could be. Get another test, different brand, and test in the morning. When I was pregnant with my son, I used the life brand from shoppers and tested 12 days after conception, its was posative, and our son is 2. We are TTC and now its the waiting game for me too. I think I will test around the 22.
