i havent had a period since july 17th, and since then ive had all your typical pregnancy symptoms. also it is uncomfortable to sleep on my stomach. im feeling like i have to pee twice as much. when my husband said to get a blood test at 3 weeks late i did, and it was a negative. i asked the doctor to run some hormone tests and she said i was fine. now im having slight cramping in my uterine area every once in a while, and my stomach feels kinda wierd, kinda hard in some areas. im kinda gassy but not constipated. im crying about everything, even a mushy commercial. what is wrong with me?

I was wondering how often gender dreams pan out. (Obviously, you might be more likely to have gender dreams if you are hoping for one gender or the other...) We don't care if our baby is a boy or a girl either way...

When I first got pregnant, I had a very realistic dream that I had a baby boy. He even peed on me in my dream.

I didn't have any gender or baby dreams up until recently, but I just had one and my baby was a girl. I was even referring to her as the name we have picked out for a girl. It was also very realistic.

So, just out of curiosity, I wanted to post a poll to see how your dreams correlated with what you are having. Did you dream that you were having a boy and ended up pregnant with a boy? Dream of a girl and end up with a girl? Or did you dream of one and end up with the other?

Yesterday my 6 week old daughter could not stop eating, she only ate like 2-3 ounces at a time, but ate like every hour, she usually eats 4-6 ounces every 3-4 hours a day, then last night she spit up and it was very mucusy. Today she hasn't eaten but maybe 4 ounces all day and spits up every time and has looks really mucusy. Is she sick? Is this normal? I have never seen the mucus in there before?

... you're going to be staying home.' I said 'What? I can't afford to do that. Nor do I want to.' Woah did that start a big arguement! She said 'well I did it, it's what's best' and I said 'even if I wanted to, I couldn't, we can't afford that, it's hard nowadays'. She still didn't see my side. But why does she think she has the right to tell me that I have to stay home after having kids? I said 'hey sure, if you're going to pay my mortgage!' - she didn't like that too much! What do you think? How would you respond?

We had sex a month ago, the first day she was off her period, think about day 7 or 8 of her cycle. I used a condom and I pulled out. Filled the condom with water, didn't leak. This Thursday night, she took a pregnancy test and it was negative. She has been under a lot of stress because her grandpa had died and she has just gotten back to school. I'm worried.

As opposed to stitches. I did and was as good as pain-free after 4 days. No after effects either.
Would you consider it?

My breasts were tender and swollen/enlarged for a while. I am 6 weeks along. The past 2-3 days the swelling has gone down and they dont hurt anymore. Is this something to worry about? I see my doctor Tuesday, but I dont think thats long enough to wait for an answer.
Thanks!

I don't know how to explain this, but when I look at a woman, I can almost always tell if she is a mom, just by the way she looks. I'm not sure what it is, but something about her face just says, "I'm a mom." I have had friends and acquaintances who I knew before, as well after they have had kids. Something changes. Maybe it's the the eyes, or face as a whole. I don't know what exactly. There's nothing negative about this. It's just a simple and odd observation. Like I said, I can't really pinpoint what the change is, but it's definitely there. I am not implying or referring to the obvious other post-childbirth body changes! Whatever I am seeing is *above* the shoulders, so let's keep the discussion in that area, if possible.

Any ideas what makes a mom look like a mom? Maybe some moms are aware of whatever changed about their own appearance, and they can tell everyone here and solve my mystery?

I was just hired for employment and i'm 16 weeks pregnant. I haven't started to show MUCH. I know they say NOT to tell potential employers you're pregnant until after the interview, so I didn't. My question now is, when do i say something? I don't want it to get to the point where i'm OBVIOUSLY pregnant and THEY say something to ME about it. Would rather have it the other way around. Any information on HOW to tell my now employer?

The problem is, my husband works out of town, well he came in friday, and yestarday (Saturday) he called once and started crap with me so he told me to find someone to take me to the Dr. Sunday. and that he was going back to go to work. So i hung up the phone and he has not call or anything, and here it is sunday and i go to the hospital in about 2 and 1/2 hrs. and he still hasnt called to check on me or anything. I want him to be there but i dont want any stress from him or him wanting to start stuff with me while im getting ready to have a baby. What should i do, leave him alone and let him go back to work and miss our child being born or what? I dont know what to do please help.
