As opposed to stitches. I did and was as good as pain-free after 4 days. No after effects either.
Would you consider it?

It came in the form of herbs that i had to prepare and had to wash the injury with the tea made from them twice a day.

This would really depend on the birth I think. My first was an episiotomy and using just a tea to wash, would have been stupid! However my other births might have worked as they were normal deliveries with very small tears.

whats the problem with stitches? its not like they affect you in any way. I had quite bad tearing (aparently) had some stitches and once the epidural wore off I couldnt feel any pain at all so......... I'd recommend stitches all the way.

I think Chinese medicine is questionable as they kill endangered amimals to get many of their ingredients. Go to a good herbal/natural shop and ask for their reccommendations. It's not worth killing an animal to get pain relief!
