I was wondering how often gender dreams pan out. (Obviously, you might be more likely to have gender dreams if you are hoping for one gender or the other...) We don't care if our baby is a boy or a girl either way...
When I first got pregnant, I had a very realistic dream that I had a baby boy. He even peed on me in my dream.
I didn't have any gender or baby dreams up until recently, but I just had one and my baby was a girl. I was even referring to her as the name we have picked out for a girl. It was also very realistic.
So, just out of curiosity, I wanted to post a poll to see how your dreams correlated with what you are having. Did you dream that you were having a boy and ended up pregnant with a boy? Dream of a girl and end up with a girl? Or did you dream of one and end up with the other?

I do believe you know at some level what the baby's sex is.
I once knew a family counselor who was also a hypnotherapist. It so happened once that five women friends got pregnant at the same time. As an experiment he asked them to volunteer to be hypnotized so he could ask them their babies' genders. In the session, after he put them under, he asked each of them to name the sex of their baby. Each one had a very specific gender, which they stuck with even when asked on more than one round of questioning...except for one. For this woman, on one round it was a boy...on another round it was a girl. He made a record of all the calls and when the women started having their babies, they were all correct...including the one that changed the call. She had fraternal twins...a boy and a girl...she did not know at the time of the session that she was pregnant with twins.
My friend was a very reputable counselor and I have no doubt that this story really happened.

Very early on in this pregnancy I had two diffrent baby BOY dreams, very realistic! Then I went for months with no gender/baby dreams at all. But right before my gender ultrasound I had a GIRL dream... ang guess what? It's a GIRL!

When I was pregnant with my 2nd child I wanted a little girl so bad. I had a dream when I was about 20 weeks along. I was at a park with my son and a tornado was coming and I was yelling "I can't find my little girl" over and over again. I wasn't sure what that meant, but when I found out I was having another boy I now know what my dream meant. I couldn't find my little girl because I wasn't haven't one. Then with my third child I had a dream of my husband (now ex) and my sister in the delivery room. The baby came out and the doctor said it was a girl. I wasn't sure what to take of it because I didn't care what I had, boy or girl. Girl kool boys, i know how to do lol. Well I had another boy LOL. So I dream of the opposite sex of baby's. Now my twin sister is pregnant. One night I had a dream that she called me and told me that she was having a boy. I woke up and called her. I told her that she was going to have a girl. (Because I dream the opposite). Well she is having a girl!

I didn't have any gender dreams with any of my 3 kids. The only delivery dream I had was a delivery room full of asian tourists taking pictures and laughing at me! I'm happy to say that that didn't happen! LOL! Best wishes for a healthy and happy baby!

I think it varies. I always had dreams of what I wanted it to be and then I always dreamed of having 2 or more at the same time. That never happened, thank goodness. After I would find out what the sex of my baby was, from then on I dreamed it was the opposite of what the doctors said. It would scare me b/c of course I had already bought everything. Needless to say, the doctors were always right for me. Also, have you ever heard of the chinese calendar that will predict what you are having? I did it each time and it was always right. I have had 5 friends to use it and it was right for all of them. You could try it and see just for fun. Good luck to you! Congratulations!

I have been having crazy dreams about twins but never can tell the gender. and when i was pregnant for my oldest i always dreamt of a boy and he was a boy with my second child i never had dreams and he was a boy , but this time with the twin thing i am freaked out lol. i can't wait for an ultrasound. good luck and congratulations

I havent had a dream about the gender since.
i AM still too early to find out. But I hpe it's a girl.

All the dreams i had when iw as pregnant, i dreamt i had a son. Now im the mommy of a wonderful 10 month old baby boy. My dreams were correct
