We had sex a month ago, the first day she was off her period, think about day 7 or 8 of her cycle. I used a condom and I pulled out. Filled the condom with water, didn't leak. This Thursday night, she took a pregnancy test and it was negative. She has been under a lot of stress because her grandpa had died and she has just gotten back to school. I'm worried.

It's most likely stress, but stress about being pregnant is one of those things when you are young. Had you asked before you did what you did, of course I would have told you that it's probably not worth it to be in such a hurry. But anyway.

Since the pregnancy test came back negative, you are justified in assuming it's just stress. Girls don't usually develop reliable to the calendar cycles until they go on the pill, which regulates it by the nature of the hormone it uses for contraception. So you need to decide now whether you are going to say worrying like this is just not worth it, or have her go to a doctor and get a prescription, and act like you're old enough for all this. I don't want to sound mocking, but really, it is a sign that you're really too young for the stress you have created for yourselves. You got ahead of yourselves; but no reason you can't back up and be (relatively) care-free teenagers again once her cycle has settled down.

Another problem with things like this is it gets both sets of parents in a terrible tizzy if they get to know about it, and then realize that you two had to have been lying to them about where you were and what you were doing when you gave them your innocent stories -- lies, to be blunt -- when in fact you were together alone where you shouldn't have been doing what you know you'd have been better off not doing.

Just wait. It's better once you're older. Trust me.

Stress can alter any females cycle. Her Grandpa died, sorry to here about that, Death is the STRESS!! The pregnancy test said it neg. Did you know that your asking and answering your own questions? Be there for her and the stress will melt away.If she is saying that she might be pregnant, it's because she is trying to fill that new empty space that she now possesses.Good luck and be a good boyfriend and understand what she is going through, because this kind of stress can make or break a couple!!

First of all let us not ever forget that condoms are not 100% percent and neither is pulling out. Second, women's body's are funny. Yes, there is a very good chance that if she is stressed out she can/will be late but the best way to know is to wait a few weeks and take another test if she hasn't come by then.

If the test is neg then she is most likely not pregnant, she could just be under alot of stress due to her grandfathers death. If she does not get her period by the time she is due take another test or go the Doc. If not tell her to get some type of birthcontrol so you don't freak out everytime you have sex!

If it was one month ago and she just tested negative then she is NOT pregnant - most likely. It would show up by now. If she's under stress that can cause you to miss your period. If she doesn't get it in another month, she should go see her Doctor. She should also consider going on birth control. It's less stress.

Stress can cause a woman to miss her period. The stress sends a signal to the body that says the conditions are SO not right to make a baby- so it doesn't even bother releasing eggs that month. This is probably what's happened with your girlfriend. If she doesn't have her period NEXT month, make sure she sees a doctor. Missing a period one month, even if you're extremely regular, can and does happen all the time.

She's most likely not pregnant. However, don't have sex yet if it causes you both this much stress. Wait until you're settled down or even married then if you do have an accident it's a little less to worry about.

More than likely she's under stress. Hormone changes and stress can alter our periods and scare us.

Take a second test in a week or two if you're really worried.

As of right now, I wouldn't worry too much. Stress can affect the menstrual cycle. That is probably what's going on with her right now.
