Does anyone know what we should do about our five year old and his eating habits? To be straight he is really wierd about food. He won't eat anything that looks funny, smells funny and gags on things like green beans. We have gotten to the point where we are so fed up we have given him no options as to trying and finishing a certain amount of foods (they are small portions). He is extremly stubborn and has not eaten for twelve hours now. I plan on sending him to bed hungry this evening. I feel really guilty about doing that but he knows that he has to eat his "growing food". At this point I can barely look at him Im so annoyed. Ugggg...anyone ever see anything like this? The doc says it is the parents responsibility to give the child food and the child decides to eat it or not. It is not normal. At the moment, he doesnt want to eat a plain chicken sandwich which he has eaten before. Think its mostly a power struggle. Thanx.

My friend has 5 kids. Her kids range from 19 to 11. Do you think that these kids are too close or too far in age. And, also is it strange to your boys as the oldest and the youngest and the girls in the middle.

and it is not one of her two front teeth...is this abnormal? She has her bottom two teeth already, but I would have though the top two would have come in next, but this is definitely to the side of her bottom teeth!

sure.. condoms r effective..
but.. accidents happens sometimes.. one lil slip and the price is emotionally too hard to pay!! especially when u r not ready for it..

I have an ex girlfriend who is pregnant but neither her nor her family wants me to have any thing to do with the baby.i'm pretty sure that the baby is mine but not a 100%.i have hearde that she wants to give it up for adoption.i have recived threats by her family and told that i am to have nothing to do with the baby.i don't know when the baby is do and seem to have no way to find out.i know a month and that's it.I want to fight for the baby and make it part of my life.it's mother wants nothing to do with it.i am on low income and cannot afford a decent lawyer.what can i do or who can i see that isn't going to cost me an arm and a leg.Thank you for any help you can give

I just got a call from my son's principal. He is in 1st grade and she said another parent complained today because her daughter claimed my son kissed her and used his tongue.

I am going to talk to him tonight about this. I am concerned to speak him in a way where he understands that he can't do that, and also so he doesn't feel badly or get a hang-up.

Any experience with this?

Hi there! I might get a babysitting job with a 4 year old and a six year old. If I do get the job or at least meet these people how should I act, wear, say, do? Should I show them my first aid and babysitting certificate? Is it ok to show them a picture of my dog to show them I'm nice and down to earth? All info would be helpfull thanks. I don't normally wade into debates like this, at least, I don't start them, but this is really getting on my wick. Would all the people saying 'abortion is murder' please stop? Because the law is determined by parliament and the judiciary, not by individual morality. Abortion is not legally considered murder, therefore that is not the correct term for it. Whether you're for or against. Thanks for that.

Hi all.
I just gave birth 7 weeks ago. I have yet to get my period and i am not breastfeeding. I did have sex a couple times using the withdrawl method. (I know thats not a reliable form of birth control) I am curious to know when can i take a pregnancy test. I know that if you take it too soon after giving birth you can get a false positive result because you still have the pregnancy hormone. Any comments welcome! Thanks.
