iam coming to the end of it and we are wanting to try for a baby but am really worried with all the reports and when ive asked on here how long it has taken people to get pregnant ive had a few positive anwers but mostly people saying its took years

I did, took it two years, had a problem getting pregnant then had a problem carrying. This was over a 10 year span as well.
1/95 gave birth #1
2/95 to 1/97 on Depo
6/97 to 10/99 tried to conceive, none
11/99, 1/00, 4/00, 7/00, 9/00, 12/00, 3/01 all conceived on Clomid, all lost
8/01 & 11/01 conceived on own and lost
1/02 conceived, delivered #2 10/02
2/05 cenceived on own and lost
4/05 conceived, delivered #3 1/06, had tubes tied, couldn't handle another loss

I started taking Depo shot right after I had my son in 2001. I been on it for 3 years and I just stopped about a year ago. My boyfriend and i wasn't trying to get pregnant we found out this month that we are going to have a baby. So I guess It all depends on your body. I hope you have faith and keep trying.

I was on the pill for almost 9 years, then went to the patch which I didn't like because of it coming off, then went on Depo for a year, and now off of everything. But I took my last shot on June 04'. Then I waited for all the extra hormones to leave my body, and you can tell when your body gets back to normal, then we started trying to get pg. And still nothing, but figured out it is my husband. So I think I would have aleady been pg even if on the shot. Cause I ovulate and everything. Even went to a Fertility Dr.

Took my 18 months...turns out the shot had stopeed my body from ovulating...I had to take clomid to get pregnant

I HAD THE DEPO SHOT RIGHT AFTER I HAD MY FIRST SON.I NOTICED THAT THE SHOT WAS MAKING ME GAIN WAIT SO I STOPPED.MONTHS PASSED BY AND THEN ONE DAY IT TURNED OUT THAT I WAS PREGNANT.SO I DON'T THINK THAT ITS THE DEPO BECAUSE I HAVE KNOW LOTS OF PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN ON THE DEPO AND THEY GET PREGNANT RIGHT AWAY.BUT LIKE EVERYONE SAYS EVERYBODY IS DIFFERENT.GOOD LUCK

after you stop most birth controls you can get pregnant faster. i gained 20 pounds on that damn shot. but good luch you should have a advantage

well i know that my cousin was taking the shot when she got pregnant with my lil cousin.... she went in for her 3 month shot an couldn't get it cause she was pregnant!!!!! good luck!!!!

yes i have and i've the worst problems with that damn shot i HATE it if you can don't do it or get of soon!!!! i've heard nothing good about it and i've been trying to get pregnant for a year!! good luck!!!
