My husband and I co-slept with our seven month old until he was four mths. Then we let fall asleep with us and put him into his crib which was right beside our bed. Now we moved his crib back into his room and I was wondering if I should put him in his crib while he is awake and let him fall asleep like that or continue to just "put" him to sleep and then put him in his crib?

I have gotten information from Similac, Enfamil, and Good Start about free diaper bags. It appears that they all offer a free diaper bag at the hosptial when you deliver your baby. I am curious what is in each of them, and if you have to choose one of them, or if the hospital will give you all of them. I have no idea what formula to go with and am happy to receive any and all samples, coupons, etc. that I can get my hands on.

I am 3 days away from my due date and experiencing depression. I am looking forward to the birth of our child, but I can't seem to kick this innate depression I am feeling inside about life in general..Doubts, fears, negative outlooks on life, etc. I just can't seem to smile the last few days. Could it be normal, the hormones changing, my brain wondering, or a serious problem such as early post partum signs? I have taken anti depression meds in the past but stopped when I became pregnant and have been well up until this point. Will it go away???

It's likely that I'm pregnant, although I need to get a blood test taken to make sure. But here's the dilemma...I've been seeing this guy for a year now, never cheated on him or anything because I'm always faithful to the one I'm with. During our relationship, we had an argument and decided to take a break for a month. I thought it was over when I didn't hear from him after a month. So one night I was out partying with one of my guy friends and ended up sleeping with him, and to my shock he came in me...unfortunately we didn't use protection. Then it happened again a week later, but we used protection. The guy that I was previously with came back in the picture and we ended up sleeping together a week later. I REALIZE I MADE BAD DECISIONS! But I wrote everything down on a calendar: I had a light period April 13, had sex w/friend the April15(came inside) April 19 had sex again w/him, April 24 had sex with the previous guy(no protection) Had a light period (could be implantation) May 5.

My son just turned 1 month old on the 22nd of August. The last time I saw the Ped., he stated that he should be drinking 24 ounces a day of formula. He is not a "on demand" eater. I have been trying to keep him on a regular schedule of feedings, at least within 1 1/2 hours lead way...
My soon to be mother in law states that at night before he should go to sleep, that I should give him a 6 ounce bottle to make him sleep longer though the night, mind you, I have no problem getting up with him at night. She states that this is what she did 24 years ago with my fiance, when he was a baby. Mind you, she told me that her doctor recommened AGAINST IT... She is a very pushy woman at times, or so I feel and I do not feel that this is a good idea?
Well, the real question is, is it a good thing to do? And if not, how do I deal with telling her?

My three week old son was on Enfamil LIPIL with Iron but was eating every hour, not seeming satisfied, very fussy, and had what seemed like an awful lot of tummy aches. We spoke with the doctor about it and he changed his formula to Enfamil Gentlease. Has anyone else heard of this and/or tried it?

Also, my son's first day on this new formula was today. Now he eats approx. every 2-3 hours and eats more although when I burp him at his feedings he usually spits up, anyone else go through this? Is it normal for them to spit up?

When did you switch your child to a toddler bed. My daughter is only 14 months old and I don't plan on doing it now, but I worry about her trying to climb out and fall to the floor. I dont think she's tried yet, but she does try to climb on other things. The mattress is lowered as far down as it will go. My crib converts to a toddler bed so that's what we'll use when the time comes. Thanks in advance for your answers.

Hi I have a 3 year old daughter who has separation anxiety. She crieds everytime she goes to the babysitter everytime she goes even after two months. Now my babysitter called me and said she can no longer watch her because she needstoo much attention. I know she cries when we are gone but I dont know what I can do about it and it isnt the first time someone doesnt want to watch her. It makes me so sad because she is sweet but just scared to be in other peoples houses without me. I am in school and work but I am so tired of this situation and feel so helpless. Does anyone have any advice?

My best friend lives about a seven hour drive away and has recently been hospitalized with a mild case. I have sent her flowers but I would like to do something else for her to cheer her up. She doesn't know if she will be sent home soon to be put on bed rest or if they will deliver the baby. It is very stressful for her either way because she is very worried, as she is only at week 30 of her pregnancy. Also, she is losing her mind having to stay in bed on her left side (to control blood pressure). I want to go there to visit and help her out, especially if she gets released from the hospital, but I have to go back to work in a week and a half (I'm a teacher) and I also have a toddler that would need to tag along. Can anyone give me some ideas?

We suspect that I may have had a miscarriage. I was a couple of days late and then I started cramping heavily (more than usual) where I had to lay down and not move. I was bleeding heavily and it continued through this morning and afternoon. Has anyone had a miscarriage before and could give me some advice. Thank you.
