from personal experience, I think I got everyone else's share of spanks. I got the belt too if I did something extra wrong!

Boys get spanked more. We treat boys and girls differently and this is one of the differences.

I'm a female. I got the snot beat out of me on a regular basis, and I don't mean 3 swats and a lecture. Depends I guess. I don't like it, never did it and have 3 perfectly well adjusted successful sons. There may be kids that respond better to spanking but it just makes me nauseous. I don't however, think it has contributed to a more violent society. I think that if we let kids scrap it out on the playground we'd have a few more bloody noses and a whole lot fewer trapped loners bringing firearms to school.

boy get more spanks then girl because boy are always getting in to something.

I would have to say that Boys do.... I think that most parents are more reluctant to spank a girl.... ... And personally, I think boys may need it a bit more.....

I think boys, because they are more apt to get into more serious trouble than girls. Also boys have a tendency to talk back and resist adults more than girls.
In my case it was because I liked being punished by girls lol

Boys probably do. I say this because they are usually more rowdy, and instead of using re-direction, parents misconstrue their behavior as wrong and spank them.

Both, I think parents are rougher on boys, but girls definately get an equal amount as boys.
