I would wear them all the time cuz I am not one to care what is "in". I wear plain jeans and plain t-shirts and a jean jacket with sneakers or hiking boots all the time. Which is not nearly "in". I definetly would wear them alot. I don't like those stupid mary-kate and ashley things. They arent really boxers.

I am a mother and a grandmother and I wear them on a daily basis...I usually wear them as shorts. Not in public! Just at home...anyway, I find them uncomfortable under clothes so I don't wear anything with my jeans. I think you should be able to dress how you want to dress as long as you aren't exposing private body parts. Ask your dad how the kids dressed in the 60's and 70's...ask him what did the adults think of it back then and then say its the same way today!...Adults are always going to think kids are dressing funny or weird but times change! Remember to be respectful though when you're talking to your dad. I don't want you to get in trouble.

There are boxers for girls. I've seen them at Wal-Mart. They're the Mary-Kate and Ashley brand. I've never worn them so I'm not sure if they're anything like boy boxers. If you don't like the girl boxers just say to your dad that boxers are just a kind of underwear and they don't affect anything in your life but your conformity.

boxers are very comfy. who says which is for which. besides if it is comfortable then thats why you should wear them. not because of an attachment to an X. an your dad should not really care as long as that is not all you are wearing right? and how would he know what you are wearing anyway?

i love boxers!!! plus, there are "girl boxers" available in stores... not just the lil "boyshort" undies, but actual boxers, built a bit more for a girly bod... talk it out w/ the 'rents, perhaps they will agree to the girly ones... i had the same probs, tho when i was younger and wore bikini or thong panties... now that i'm older and on my own, it's all my choice if i even wear any at all lol.

Can he see what you are wearing to bed? Just wear the ones your bf gives you and hide it from your dad. How can he not approve of it? What are his reasons? They are just like shorts. As long as wear underwear underneath it of course - is that why he doesn't like them?

my 12 yr. old daughter begged me to let her get boxers the other day. she loves them, but mostly wears the for pj's. she did wear them under a looser pair of jeans one day. she says they are very comfy, and i figure no one will see them but her!
