I love it when people name their babies after an event surrounding it's conception if they know when it was. You will have to wait to tell him why he got his name when he is older, though if you name him Ford!! Or even after the place where they met, like when Tom Hanks named his girlfriend "Madison" from the street sign where they were in Splash.
Barring that, just make sure it has at lease 2 syllables, the middle name goes well, the initials don't spell something awful or stupid like Alexander Samuel Sneed (A.S.S.) and the kids can't find much to tease him about. I do like the name Alexander Sneed, though! The classics are cool. Trendy names get them all mixed up in school when there are 12 "Justins" in the same class!
