You just spent 9 almost 10 months without a period. It's all gotta catch up with you. lol
Anyway, they tell you to come back in 6 weeks because that is the amount of time it should take you to stop bleeding from the baby and then get your period and be over it all. Does that make sense?
I was told if you had clots bigger than a plum then be worried. But like some of the others said, if you are scared, do call your doc. Its a very routine question for them.
Congrats! And welcome to the Club!!!

After I had my daughter the only thing that I was told was to call a doctor or got the emergency room if I was filling 1 pad or more in 1 hour. But if you are uncomfortable or bothered go to the doctor.
They will not mind, trust me they want you to know you are OK.

I got this with my first one. It was my period. i got it again the day I was supposed to go for my 6 week checkup, Talk about frustrating for my husband. lol Don't sweat it, but if you are worried then call you doc, that's what they are paid for. Congrats on the baby and Hope this helps!

You're probably doing to much walking try resting and if it gets worse try going to the docs. if not try eating some beans, cheese and, tortillas it will make your vagina and your ovaries stronger, so that it will slow down your clotting.

i dont know if it is normal. i had a c section and it happened to me too. just call your doctor and expain it to them and they will tell you if you need to come in or not, but i am pretty sure you have nothing to worry about, but better safe than sorry.
