I keep hearing this all over the place. I know this
one little boy who is almost 4 and pooping his diaper.
My mom said she had us all potty trained at 2 and my
friends mom says the same thing.

are girls more intellecually advanced at this age?

Also, why does it seem our generation cant seem to
potty train thier kids and yet our parents were able
to at really young ages?

any ideas? i cant get the baby to sleep without using the swing with music, nor can the wife or sisterinlaw.... shes 6 months today and a fighter to the sleep time... she has to be in the swing for 10 minutes or so, hours of rocking or walking dont work........

so here the deal, me and this guy were friends for 4 1/2 years before we decided to get together. I know eveything about him and I love him dearly, hes my everything. Hes in the United States Coast Guard stationed in Florida and I'm in Chicago, long distance realtionship. I'll soon be in Florida for this Disney College program, but anyway recently we thought that we were pregnant and at first we both were scared and didnt know what to do but a couple of days past and we began to understand and accept the concept of being parents. It was great it got to the point were he would have me put the phone to stomach...then we found out that i wasn't and he act like it didn't bother him. We discussed maybe tryin for another one (seeing as though we both kinda wanted it) and hes not sure. Were both 19 like I said before hes in the United States Coast guard and I'm in College studying photography/ Journalism and work with CTA. I just want to know if with our current situation if we should try?

Ultrasound at 17 wks 5 days. This is our 2nd child-1st child is a boy. The doctor (not ultrasound tech) at place specializing in GENETIC screenings said "It's another boy!" Of course I was a bit disappointed because I really was hoping for a girl this time. 1st son will be 19 mths when this one is born. I had dreams from before I found out I was even pregnant that I was going to have a girl, but first had to lose my two front teeth to get her! Pregnancy dreams can be weird! Other dreams since I found out I was pregnant have also ALL been about having a GIRL! I even woke up with a strange "knowing". So when he said "another boy!" it just didn't feel right, but I was okay and accepting of it. I adore my son! Then, I got out my 1st son's ultrasound photo & compared the two (same angles). They don't look even close! This 2nd child's looks more like a girl's ultrasound (same angle) I downloaded from the internet! (MUCH shorter "down there") Could it possibly be a girl? Or am I just crazy?!

Lately my wife & I do everything we can possibly think of to get our baby to settle down & go to sleep at bedtime, but he's still fussy. This is especially hard on us when it's 3 hours past our bed time. Our alarm clock goes off at 5am & we haven't been getting to sleep til about 1am because he's whining & crying. We can rock him to sleep with no problem but as soon as we lay him down in his crib he wakes up and gets fussy. We've even moved his crib into our bedroom. Tried letting him sleep with us which worked for him, but for us we were too nervous & couldn't sleep because he's a very active baby & kept getting under the pillows and blankets. Leaving him to cry himself to sleep is not an option because he has reflux & we wouldn't know if he were crying because of that & really needed us. Any suggestions on how to get a fussy baby to go to sleep and stay asleep? Thanks for your help!

How old is to old to have an imaginary friend? My son is 7 years old he is the youngest of my 3 kids. He has a stuffed dog that he pretends is real, but the dog does like human things.He has a job and drives a Ford truck stuff like that. My son has normal friends, but when I tell him his dog is not real it hurts his feelings really bad. Is this healthy I mean should I just let him be and he will out grow it? Yes I have bought him a real dog and it didn't change anything.TY.

i am 16 and i wet the bed due to stress, i have talked to a doctor and he said that he could not find any thing wrong with me, other than that i get about 4 hours of sleep a night, i am involved with about 6 diffrent clubs, i am in high school and college at the same time (dual enrolment) i am active in church, and i have a job. i dont want to go on drugs, and i want to know if there is a better way to handle this, right now my parents are making me use diapers (new mattress). i need new ideas, i hate wearing diapers.
