Maybe you need to consider dropping out of a few clubs at school. I know it's pretty cool and all but I think your well being is the most important. Do you work alot? Maybe cut back on your hours. You know the most important thing is your grades and school, not all those clubs. But please stay active in church. Have you prayed and asked God to give you the advice you need? It sounds like you are stressed out to the max . And I agree...you don't need meds! Just a little bit of swiching things around a bit. Also, maybe wach what you drink at night too. Like don't drink anything 2 hours before bed or even when you wake up in the middle of the night. My brother had this problem and my mom spent so much $ on this pad thing that would set off a really loud ring if it got wet. My brother just couldn't wake up to go to the bathroom. So I hope I helped you out. Good luck!

You just need to slow down. Stop and smell the roses.

You have way too many activities for the number of hours in a day. You say you need the money for college then you need to drop the activities that are not tied to your financial future, that does not mean drop church activities though. Without that you have no future.

You need to run your life and not let your life run you. What is it worth to you to go through all this stress right now if by the time you are 25 you die of a heart attack caused by all the stress? What have you gained?

Slow down, so it takes you an extra year to get where you want to be, so what? I know a year right now seems like a lot of time but it will pay for itself in the future.

I applaud your ambition, if only you could bottle it and share it with so many others that have none. That said, you still need to slow down.

Good luck with what you are trying to accomplish in your life.

as a mother of a son who wets his bed, i do have some ideas that might help you out.
1. slow down you are only 16 and you have many years to experience everything life has to offer, so right now pick only a few and postpone the rest.
2. limit your fluid intake after 6pm and be sure to pee before going to bed. wouldn't hurt to set an alarm half way through the night to wake you up to pee.
3. throw those diapers away! how degrading. shame on your parents for their lack of interest with this problem. there are other means of protection like an absorbent cloth pad that lays on top of your sheet its washable and lasts.
4. you also need to stretch and strengthen your bladder. you do this by during the day when you feel the urge to pee wait, pee when you cant stand it any longer. then while peeing stop your flow of urine and hold for a count of 3 and release. do this every time you need to pee it may work.

good luck don't give up

You need to see another doctor for second opinion.

My brother growing up had a disorder where his kidney's didn't mature with his body's age until he reached into his mid teens.

It is common in boys to be bed wetters a lot longer than females. Something about their kidney's don't always develope with the bodie's other organs etc.

My brother also was placed on some medication too. I don't remember what it is called. I know it had to be refrigerated.

You need to see a urinalisis or a kidney specialist to run some test too.

However, I am leaning towards t his issue based on what you already stated. It is stress. Bed wetting is also a phycological issue. How about you decrease it.

Need to get more hours of sleep.
Decrease your work load. You got your whole life to be involved in a lot of things. Focus on one or two. College and high school is a lot in itself (as I did the same thing my senior year).

There is "diapers" called Depends. Which are not as bulky as diapers are. However, until you get your stress level under control and see a doctor, I would wear them so you don't have urine stains on new matress. No one has to know about it.

Yet, I wouldn't want to wear it myself. So, I can feel how you don't want to. Which if you don't, I say buy fitted plastic sheets that goes under neith your regular sheets. What will soak into your sheets will go on to the plastic sheet. Not the matress. Only thing is you might need to wash your blankets more often due to it.

Don't drink a lot of fluids at night and set your alarm to wake up roughly 3 hours after sleep. Get to bed early. Let's say 10pm. Wake up about 1am and then wake up about 5 am. Each time go to the restroom.

Get your body on a clock. Sometimes our bodies don't know when to wake up when needing to go to the restroom. You have to train your body to do so.

When you go to bed set the clock to wake up every 2 or 3 hours if you have to and go use the bathroom! I wouldn't do so many things so you can take some of the stress off of yourself. I really hope you find something that works!

Drink less/ no water 2-3 hrs before going to bed, sleeping on a plastic sheet so you know immediatlely when you pee, maybe you can find what triggers you to pee while you sleep and stop before it happens. Get more rest, so that you're not so deep in sleep that you're not dead to the world while sleeping, too tired to get up to pee.

I think you need to cut back on your activity level and increase your sleep amounts. Also, no liquids after dinner time (which should be by 6pm)
