Yes and No.
Those tests are designed to detect hcg, a pregnancy hormone. Some women do not have enough hcg in their urine four days before their period is due and some women do. Everyone is different. If you look at the box carefully, you'll see that it states what the percentage is of accurate results is. You'll get a more reliable result if you wait until your period is due.

Those tests are notoriously inaccurate. They would proably give you a correct reading 2 or 3 weeks after a missed period

they claim to, but I am pregnant right now and took the test the first day of my missed period, and got a negative. Same with my last child.
If you get a positive, it is probabally accurate, but a negative, I would wait and do it again.

Nope, it will only work after you miss your period for 10 days.

First Response gave me a true positive result 4 days before I was due for my period.

It all depends on your body but mine worked 5 days before my missed period and it came back possitive. So just all depends on your body and good luck

i say no because it didn't work for me. it told me that i wasn't but then i missed my period waited about a week then went to the doctor and i was.

not really, if you really want to know early ask your doctor for a blood test, that can tell you right off , before your period

they are not 100% accurate, the ept is more accurate than first response.
